And when the breath began to ache and when the nights were longer and when it was more burden than strength and when it was easier to give up than to go on, You my light and my Savior made noise and I remembered that I was not alone, You took from me what I could not carry, You gave peace to my soul, You sent some angels that made me remember that company was what I needed.

In life we carry many burdens, many things to solve that make us blind to what we have in front of us, in our present, sometimes personally I want to control everything and I do not mean that control of authority, but the control to avoid chaos, to control that everything is fine, that everything goes at the pace it should go, I have even come to control the outcome of most things in my life and I noticed that recently, but the exact words of what I was used to do with everything, was perfectly described by the character of Joyce Smith, John's mother, in the movie Breakthrough, the actress who plays her is Chrissy Metz.
Last night when I saw this movie and honestly I was surprised, it was something shocking that touched my being, first because it was seeing myself through the role of Joyce Smith, when her role I said to myself: I have a lot of faith, I believe a lot in God, but it is true, sometimes I want to control even the outcome of things that happen when the only thing I should do is let myself be led by Him, let others do for me what only I want to do, that was how this movie came to impact me because I identified a lot with this character.
On the other hand I want to tell you that I cried too much, it made me cry a few tears and not because the movie was sad, but because I have lived those emotions that each scene transmits, my life since I was born is a miracle and many times one asks oneself why, why me or we say what do you want with me God, and that is when you realize that every life has a purpose, whether big or small, long or short, everyone is in this world to leave a mark on it.

Sometimes we believe we are eternal and that is the first reason why we blame life and God when we lose a loved one, it is nobody's fault, we are mortals living in a world where we believe we will never leave, where we know that death exists but we do not accept it, we do not assimilate it and even more when it is someone we love, but everything in this world has a reason to be and a reason not to be and when the time comes, we leave, but sometimes even when we are on the verge of death miracles happen that indicate that there is still more of us, that there is still more to give than life wants us to give.
I believe in miracles, I believe in God, in life and watching this movie reminded me how beautiful it is to leave our burdens to the Creator, to a Father, I remembered how beautiful hope is in the midst of a world of war, of chaos, because there is nothing more beautiful than having a place to go and a place to take refuge when you can't go anymore, when the water has reached your neck, when the external weighs you down internally, that relief, that help, having that little place where being alone or alone you run to escape, is the most gratifying thing in the world.
The most surprising thing about this film that has caused me all these kinds of emotions, is that it does not have a great lesson in its ending, it does not have something that leaves you with your eyes wide open with astonishment or a great revelation, but it shows us that things happen simply because they must happen, because God, time, life, wants them to happen, it reminds us that the simplest things are those that are worth the most, that people do not necessarily have to do something extraordinary to prove that they are worth, to show that you can always do your bit to make this world a better place.

It is only a matter of union, of letting ourselves go, but above all and most importantly, it is only a matter of letting ourselves be helped, nowadays with so much evil we prefer to do everything by ourselves, to avoid mistakes, betrayals, disappointments and that is how we close ourselves so much that when in reality these people come to help you we demand the way they should do it, Sometimes we believe that they only approach us to give us negativity, but it is not so, we have seen and lived so many disappointments and evils that we forget that there are still good people who want our welfare, who love our loved ones and that in one way or another do what they can to be or to help.
It is not too much to tell you that this beautiful feature film was released in 2019, with a duration of 116 minutes and is directed by director Roxann Dawson, the character of John is played by actor Marcel Ruíz and the character of John's father, Brian Smith is played by Josh Lucas, there are other characters that bring to this film an important value, Of course it is a film of faith, of hope and that is exactly what we need today, plus we can see how the love of a mother for her son makes her fight and go against science and medicine itself so that her hope makes people see that all is not lost. If you haven't seen it yet, I invite you to watch it, it is a family movie that even if you don't believe in any of this, it will surely make you have a few knots in your throat, plus it is a story based on real life and as I have mentioned before, I love movies based on real events, it is an inspiring story that makes you really feel strong emotions or at least will leave you thinking about everything I have mentioned here.
I hope you liked it, see you next time my movie buffs!
