No family is perfect, but exaggerating a little about family imperfection I will tell you about an American movie that I saw several years ago and that I remembered today, it is called in its original English title "We're the Millers" and in its Spanish title "Somos los Millers o ¿Quién &#"@!$ son los Millers?", its genre is comedy with a criminal touch, it was released in Venezuela on October 25, 2013, directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber with a duration of 1h and 58m.
This feature film has several main actors, among them we have Jason Sudeikis playing David Clark or David Millers, a small drug dealer who is robbed of his few savings and one of his goods, due to this he manages to get into debt with his supplier who to skip the debt asks him to perform a marijuana trafficking job from Mexico to the United States, but David Clark is not only a loser who lives his life in a lazy and illegal way, but besides that he is smart and sometimes his cunning makes him go a little further, He comes up with the perfect plan to sneak across the border and one of the best ways is to pretend to be a family man just vacationing from one country to another in a big RV, But for that he will have to look for his fake family and that is when the actress Jennifer Aniston who plays an exotic dancer named Rose O'Reilly or Sarah O'Reilly could not be missing in this comedy who being out of work and without any hope of emerging decides to be part of the plan of his neighbor David Clark, who makes the decision to be the fake wife and mother of the Millers, fake family that David begins to create.
But like any family, children should not be missing (mostly), so David following his clever plan negotiates with a young runaway and rebel who ends up accepting the deal for a couple of dollars, actress Emma Roberts (Julia Roberts' niece) plays the young girl named Casey Mathis or better known as the daughter of the Millers, *Casey Millers. David also takes advantage of the innocence and friendship of another neighbor of the building where he lives, his name is Kenny Rossmore who ends up being the son of the Millers, is played by actor Will Poulter, who with his facial expressions will make you laugh over and over again, this is how this fake family created by David Clark, form the members of the Millers family.
They venture to Mexico, from there they learn that David's supplier from the United States deceived them by passing them off as collaborators of Chacon, another drug dealer in Mexico who pursues them with his executioners, being cornered they are saved in the moment by the professional performance of the stripper Rose O'Reilly, better known as the mother of the Millers family, this is how they manage to escape from these real gangsters and on the way Kenny is bitten by a tarantula and so he is taken to the nearest hospital, When Kenny is discharged from the hospital, David explodes and tells the real amount for which he has done all this drama and trip and is when the other members of the Millers family disagree with David Clark, making him the important one decides to leave the rest of the group but does not advance a few miles when he decides to return and that is how all this movie drama unfolds, providing many adventures, laughter and black humor to all who have seen and enjoyed it.
The Millers family has some members who manage to get a few laughs, being sincere my personal criticism is that there are scenes too vulgar and certainly damage the stereotype of a real family, showing scenes of bribery with law enforcement authorities, lies, deception, sexual innuendo among the family, that discredit the morals and values of a family, but being without intention to harm and only to achieve a comedy film, they manage to recreate a fake family that together come to love each other and want to stay together, some members of the family begin to value the company of the other is how they finally manage to be together thanks to an agreement with the DEA. Undoubtedly there are scenes that cause nausea but others that make us laugh non-stop, to be more exact it is a youth film where drama, comedy and others are not demanding, as we commonly see daily any kind of cases that seeing them behind a big screen causes us laughter and cinematic entertainment.
There is sensitive content to tell the truth, but out of all that there are scenes that cause quite a few laughs, personally, one of my favorite scenes is when David Clark gives away the real amount he was offered for drug trafficking, that's how Kenny Millers realizes that he only did it for pleasure and good will and that it didn't cost David Clark anything to convince him by abusing his innocence hahahaha that part makes me laugh too much, by the way Kenny Rossmore's innocence is one of the greatest weapons for this comedy because it makes us laugh spontaneously just watching him act during the movie.
It is not a movie that I recommend for the family as it has sensitive content, but in my case, I saw it in the theater at the time of its release and I managed to laugh a lot, if you are looking for comedy and some crime in a movie, I recommend it, it kills any boredom, showing us once again that even invented families are totally imperfect but in the end they come to love each other like any other real family.

Ninguna familia es perfecta, pero exagerando un poco sobre la imperfección familiar les comentaré sobre una película estadunidense que me vi hace varios años y de la que hoy recordé, se llama en su título original en inglés “We’re the Millers” y en su título en español “Somos los Millers o ¿Quién &#”@!$ son los Millers?”, su género es de comedia con un toque criminal, fue estrenada en Venezuela el 25 de Octubre de 2013, dirigida por Rawson Marshall Thurber con una duración de 1h y 58m.
Este largometraje tiene varios actores principales, entre ellos tenemos a Jason Sudeikis interpretando a David Clark o David Millers, un pequeño vendedor de droga al que le roban sus pocos ahorros y una de sus mercancías, debido a esto logra endeudarse con su proveedor quien para saltarle la deuda le pide realizar un trabajo de tráfico de marihuana desde México a los Estados Unidos, pero David Clark no sólo es un perdedor que vive su vida de manera vaga e ilegal, sino que además de eso es inteligente y algunas veces su astucia lo hace ir un poco más lejos, es así como se idealiza un plan perfecto para pasar desapercibido por la frontera y una de las mejores formas es aparentar ser un padre de familia que sólo va de vacaciones de un país a otro en una gran casa rodante, pero para eso deberá buscar su familia falsa y es ahí cuando no podría faltar en esta comedia la actriz Jennifer Aniston quien interpreta a una bailarina exótica llamada Rose O'Reilly o Sarah O’Reilly quien quedando sin trabajo y sin ninguna esperanza de surgir decide ser parte del plan de su vecino David Clark, quien toma la decisión de ser la esposa falsa y madre de los Millers, familia falsa que David comienza a crear.
Pero como toda familia, los hijos no deben faltar (en su mayoría), así es como David siguiendo su inteligente plan negocia con una joven fugitiva y rebelde quien termina aceptando el trato por un par de dólares, la actriz Emma Roberts (sobrina de Julia Roberts) interpreta a esa jovencita llamada Casey Mathis o mejor conocida como la hija de los Millers, Casey Millers. Así mismo David se aprovecha de la inocencia y amistad de otro vecino del edificio donde vive él, su nombre es Kenny Rossmore quien así termina siendo el hijo de los Millers, es interpretado por el actor Will Poulter, quien con sus expresiones faciales te hará reír una y otra vez, así es como esta familia falsa creada por David Clark, forman a los integrantes de la familia Millers.
Se aventuran a viajar a México, desde allá se enteran que el proveedor de David de los Estados Unidos los engañó al hacerlos pasar por colaboradores de Chacón, otro traficante de drogas en México el cual los persigue con sus verdugos, siendo acorralados se salvan en el momento por la actuación profesional de la stripper Rose O’Reilly, mejor conocida como la madre de la familia Millers, es así como logran escapar de esos verdaderos mafiosos y en el camino Kenny es picado por una tarántula y así es llevado al hospital más cercano, cuando Kenny es dado de alta es que David por el apuro y el contra tiempo explota y dice el verdadero monto real por el cual ha hecho todo ese drama y viaje y es cuando los demás integrantes de la familia Millers quedan en desacuerdo con David Clark, haciéndose éste el importante decide abandonar al resto del grupo pero no avanza unos cuantos kilómetros cuando decide regresar y es así como se desarrolla todo este drama cinéfilo, brindando muchas aventuras, risas y humor negro a todos los que la hemos visto y disfrutado.
La familia Millers tiene a unos integrantes que logran sacarnos unas cuantas risas, siendo sincera mi crítica personal es que hay escenas demasiado vulgares y que dañan sin duda alguna el estereotipo de una familia real, mostrándonos unas escenas de sobornos con autoridades de la ley, mentiras, engaños, insinuaciones y actos sexuales entre la familia que desacreditan la moral y los valores de un hogar, pero que siendo sin intención de dañar y solo de lograr una película de comedia logran recrear una familia falsa que unida llegan a quererse y querer permanecer juntos, algunos integrantes de la familia comienzan a valorar la compañía del otro es así como finalmente logran estar juntos gracias a un acuerdo con la DEA. Sin duda alguna hay escenas donde causan náuseas pero otras que nos hacen reír sin parar, para ser más exactos es una película juvenil donde el drama, la comedia y demás no son de carácter exigentes, ya que comúnmente vemos a diario cualquier tipo de casos que verlos tras una pantalla grande nos causa risas y entretenimiento cinematográfico.
Hay contenido sensible a decir verdad, pero fuera de todo eso hay escenas que causan bastante risa, en lo personal, una de mis escenas favoritas es cuando David Clark delata la verdadera cifra que le ofrecieron por el tráfico de droga, es así como Kenny Millers se da cuenta que sólo lo hizo por placer y buena voluntad y que a David Clark no le costó nada convencerlo abusando de su inocencia jajajaja 🤣😅 esa parte me da demasiada risa, por cierto la inocencia de Kenny Rossmore es una de las mayores armas para esta comedia ya que nos hace reír de manera espontánea al sólo verlo actuar durante la película.
No es una película que recomiende para la familia ya que tiene contenido sensible, pero en mi caso, me la vi en el cine en su tiempo de estreno y logré reír bastante, si estás buscando comedia y algo de crimen en una película, te la recomiendo, mata cualquier aburrimiento, demostrándonos una vez más que aún las familias inventadas son totalmente imperfectas pero que a la final llegan a quererse como cualquier otra familia real.
