The long awaited season 3 of SEX EDUCATION finally came out and it was all I expected it to be. There were new characters in the show. I was also excited when they shot some scenes in Nigeria and tried to show some of Nigerian’s culture and lifestyle. I was impressed.
So let me start by talking about the new characters that we were introduced. We saw Jemima Kirke(Hope) as the new principal. She came with her own style and wanted to change the bad press the school had created. She tried her best to do that but things went out of control, so she gave up and quit. We saw Jason Isaacs(Peter Groff) as Adam’s father’s brother which is his uncle. He played the role of a very successful man but he always bullied his brother. The scene where Mr Groff, Adam’s father stood up to him was really impressive and brave. Then we saw Dual Saleh(Cal) as a non binary person, who is on its journey to discovering it self.
Otis was very lucky in this season because he had two hot girls who were in love with him. Otis started dating the most popular and classiest girl in school, Ruby. Otis being a good at sex and a great supporter, showed Ruby lots of affection, she ended up falling in love. But unfortunately for Ruby, Otis didn’t feel the same way. Which made me feel bad for Ruby, because it’s actually hard breaking your emotional walls for someone and the person ends up not feeling the same way.
This series is a great series because it has a lot to teach young people about SEX and shows just how good it is to explore and have knowledge about it. I actually envy the younger people privileged enough to watch this at their tender age, because this series has a lot to teach them. At my age currently I learnt a lot watching it. Especially the part where they tried to show that disabled people also desire SEX.
Before this season came out I hated Isaac because of what he did in the previous season. But his character was giving a chance to be loved, all of a sudden the rage I had towards his character died.
I will rate it an 8/10, this is because they tried to touch lots of sensitive parts with proper explanation.
