¡Hola a todos!
Hoy les comparto un post más conversacional ya que aún estoy trabajando en el contenido para los próximos treinta días. ¿La razón? Mi teléfono se dañó y tuve que llevarlo a reparar dejándome sin mi principal herramienta de trabajo y conexión a internet. Afortunadamente pudo repararse fácilmente y estoy trabajando en ponerme al día. Aún tengo mensajes de los últimos posts que no he contestado. Disculpen la demora. Les estaré dando respuesta a la brevedad posible.
Y hablando de eso, mientras estaba armando mi lista de temas, me encontraba escuchando música para concentrarme. Mi playlist suele ser de lo más random: puedo estar escuchando el "Hallelujah" de Handel, luego escuchar "Enter Sandman" de Metallica y luego saltar al ending de Dragon Ball GT "Hitorijanai" de DEEN.
De pronto, escuché "Counter Attack", uno de los temas de Shingeki no Kyojin y recordé que con este tema, inicia el OVA "Choice without Regrets", donde se relata la vida de Levi antes de formar parte de la Legión y la forma como se unió a esta.
La primera imagen que llegó a mi cabeza fue la escena donde Levi acaricia el cabello de Isabel. Esa escena me pareció muy bonita y con un gran significado sobre la relación que tenían Isabel, Farlan y Levi, ya que este último nunca dejaba ver sus emociones y ese simple gesto demostraba el gran afecto que tenía por sus compañeros quienes eran como sus hermanos.
Pensé que habría sido lindo ver una reacción por parte de Isabel, quien era muy extrovertida y tenía mucho respeto y admiración por su "Hermano Mayor". Por lo que tomé como referencia la escena del anime para hacer mi propia versión.

Tenía tiempo sin dibujar a Levi. Es uno de mis personajes preferidos y uno a los que más admiro por su desarrollo. Muchas veces me sentí muy identificada con él y hasta el día de hoy, lloro cada vez que lo veo llorar en ese OVA, a pesar de haberlo visto infinidad de veces.

Today I'm sharing a more conversational post as I'm still working on the content for the next thirty days. The reason? My phone broke and I had to take it in for repair, leaving me without my main work tool and internet connection. Fortunately, it was easily repaired and I'm working on catching up. I still have messages from the last posts that I haven't answered. Sorry for the delay. I'll be responding to them as soon as possible.
And speaking of that, while I was putting together my list of topics, I was listening to music to concentrate. My playlist is usually quite random: I can be listening to Handel's "Hallelujah", then hear Metallica's "Enter Sandman", and then jump to the ending of Dragon Ball GT "Hitorijanai" by DEEN.
Suddenly, I heard "Counter Attack", one of the themes from Shingeki no Kyojin, and I remembered that with this theme, the OVA "Choice without Regrets" begins, where Levi's life before joining the Legion and how he joined it is recounted.
The first image that came to my mind was the scene where Levi caresses Isabel's hair. That scene seemed very beautiful to me and with a great meaning about the relationship that Isabel, Farlan and Levi had, since the latter never let his emotions show and that simple gesture showed the great affection he had for his companions who were like his brothers.
I thought it would have been nice to see a reaction from Isabel, who was very extroverted and had a lot of respect and admiration for her "Older Brother". So I took the anime scene as a reference to make my own version.

I hadn't drawn Levi in a while. He is one of my favorite characters and one of the ones I admire the most for his development. Many times I felt very identified with him and to this day, I cry every time I see him cry in that OVA, despite having seen it countless times.
