Recently I watched Misery, a horror film about a writer named Pual who has just finished writing a manuscript for his latest book. When he gets into a car crash that nearly kills him. He loses consciousness, but he happens to get saved by his biggest fan… a woman named Annie who happens to love him and his books obsessively.

This movie’s star actors were James Caan and Kathy Bates, who did a wonderful job acting out the two main characters, Paul Sheldon and Annie Wilkes.

It is a bit hard to choose who was the best character in this story, but I just might have to go with Paul the writer because even while being kidnapped, the man had the nerve to make witty jokes, and was not a dummy when it came to his attempts to leave the house.

Story:

The story was good and unpredictable. A lot of the times I felt Pual was really onto something and he had a lot of clever plans to leave the house. This movie shocked me with what actually ended up happening, so I would describe this movie as delightfully unpredictable.

Overall this movie was great and I recommend it if you want a horror that will keep you interested until the very end.
