So recently I was able to watch a movie called the Intruder, a thriller about a couple moving into a new house out in the country only to find out the ‘friendly’ former house owner is always giving them visits… even if they’re unwanted.
My thoughts over all:
This movie was amazing! The actors were really good and there were moments where I was at the edge of my seat with suspense and worry! I would constantly yell at the characters on screen about what they should do in that situation, so you can kinda’ tell I was really invested. (Run Annie, Run!)
The Plot
The plot was amazing in my opinion. Though there were times when I’d find myself asking some of the characters, Why would you do that!? That’s so stupid! You’re asking to get killed! A lot of the things they did weren’t too unbelievable, and I absolutely LOVED the ending, since it tied up all the loose ends of the movie and left nothing unanswered.
Favorite Character
My favorite character was Scott, the husband who bought the house with his wife Annie. Everything he did was logical and he just seemed morally correct in my opinion. He just wanted what was best for his wife and him, and did a lot to keep them safe.
If you like thrillers, this is a must watch! If you’re a movie lover like me this movie will leave you with some type of emotion! The suspense is just perfect!
I give this movie a 9/10!
