Breaking Bad was one of the first series I saw in my life and it has always obsessed me on many levels, the story of an underrated chemistry professor who decides to start cooking meth after receiving a lung cancer diagnosis to leave money for his Family after his imminent death is a hypnotic recipient of everything a series must do to function, created by the great Vince Gilligan with Bryan Cranston as the protagonist (who at least until that moment acted almost exclusively in comedies) Breaking Bad came from the school of projects like The Wire or Breaking Bad, blurring the lines between good quality television and film.

Breaking Bad fue una de las primeras series que vi en mi vida y desde siempre me ha obsesionado en muchísimos niveles, la historia de un profesor de química infravalorado que decide comenzar a cocinar metanfetamina tras recibir un diagnóstico de cancer de pulmón para dejar dinero a su familia luego de su inminente muerte es un hipnótico recipiente de todo lo que debe hacer una serie para funcionar, creada por el grandioso Vince Gilligan con Bryan Cranston de protagonista (Quien al menos hasta ese momento actuaba de forma casi exclusiva en comedias) Breaking Bad venía de la escuela de proyectos como The Wire o Breaking Bad, difuminando las líneas entre la televisión y el cine de buena calidad.

Aunque para el yo de ese entonces (Hablamos de los principios del 2010s) las razones por las que Breaking Bad era tan buena eran un poco abstractas, internamente sabía que estaba en frente de algo excelente pero me costaba sintentizar el por qué.
¿A que viene toda esta introducción? A qué Ozymandias, su antepenúltimo episodio, sirve como un punto de partida excelente para explicar por qué Breaking Bad es una de las series modernas más impresionantes que han creado.
De la mano de Ryan Johnson (Si, el mismo director de The Last Jedi), Ozymandias no solo es considerado uno de los mejores episodios de la serie, sino de toda la historia de la televisión.

Ozymandias existe entre paralelismos constantes con los inicios de la serie, abriendo nuestros ojos y forzarnos a ver todo el daño que su protagonista a hecho, un protagonista vulnerable que debe lidiar con este mismo desastre.
Granite State y Felina vienen después, pero Ozymandias es el verdadero final de Breaking Bad.
