Red Notice is one of those films that cannot help but exist in a kind of limbo where they simultaneously give you many incentives to watch them but are too generic to generate a genuine hype.
It is not exactly difficult to understand why, with a cast full of the biggest stars of the moment (The Rock, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot), Red Notice is a solid blockbuster that takes many elements with which we are familiar knows how to land them solidly

Of course, on the sour side of the story we could say that this is a generic movie, the twists are quite forced and the special effects leave a lot to be desired at very specific moments, but I feel like it's a pretty pretentious way of analyzing a film that evidently does not pursue more than silly entertainment.

His characters have a lot of chemistry and it is easy to become fond of them, mixing elements of real history with other fictional ones it is easy to connect with their conflicts and despite its long duration at no time does it become extremely past.
In the worst case, Red Notice represents the most consumerist and empty side of mainstream cinema, built specifically to attract as many people as possible and taking the least amount of risks ... in more positive terms it is a large-scale film that makes a A couple of years it would never have existed on Netflix, although its artistic value is scarce, it tells us about the impact that streaming has today and the way we consume blockbuster cinema.

Red Notice es una esas de películas que no pueden evitar existir en una especie de limbo en donde simultáneamente te dan muchos incentivos para verlas pero resultan demasiado genéricas como para generar un hype genuino.
No es precisamente complicado entender por qué, con un cast plagado de las estrellas más grandes del momento (The Rock, Ryan Reynolds y Gal Gadot), Red Notice es un sólido blockbuster que toma muchos elementos con los que estamos familiarizados sabe aterrizarlos de forma sólida.

Por supuesto, en el lado más agrio de la historia podríamos decir que se trata de una película genérica, los twist están bastante forzados y los efectos especiales dejan mucho que desear en momentos muy concretos, pero siento que es una forma bastante pretenciosa de analizar un film que evidentemente no persigue más que el entretenimiento tonto.

Sus personajes tienen bastante química y es fácil encariñarse con ellos, mezclando elementos de historia real con otros ficticios es fácil conectar con sus conflictos y a pesar de su larga duración en ningún momento se hace extremadamente pasada.
En el peor de los casos Red Notice representa el lado más consumista y vacío del cine mainstream, construido específicamente para atraer la mayor cantidad de gente posible y tomando la menor cantidad de riesgos… en términos más positivos es una película de gran escala que hace un par de años nunca hubiese existido en Netflix, aunque su valor artístico sea escaso nos habla del impacto que tiene el streaming en la actualidad y la forma en que consumimos cine blockbuster.
