Although I consider myself a fairly intense Star Wars fan, sometimes I feel like my love is limited to the main movies (With some very specific exceptions like The Mandalorian or the acclaimed Rogue One), honestly, although I appreciate that Disney has experimented quite a bit with the franchise in very interesting ways I feel that several of these attempts have failed to hit the mark.

Of course, it would be hypocritical to try to exaggerate my enjoyment of Visions, it does not seem to me the best animated series in the world and I feel that the anthological format can weigh down the enjoyment a bit, but at the same time I respect very much all the creative freedoms that were taken, it is Great to see so many talented artists externalizing their own visions of the Star Wars Universe, especially considering that those visions come from a very oriental perspective.

Aunque me considero un fan bastante intenso de Star Wars, a veces siento que mi amor se limita a las películas principales (Con algunas excepciones muy específicas como The Mandalorian o la aclamada Rogue One), la verdad, aunque aprecio que Disney ha experimentado bastante con la franquicia en formas muy interesantes siento que varios de estos intentos no han dando en el clavo.

Si bien este formato antológico termina dificultando nuestra posibilidad de forjar lazos muy estrechos con cualquiera de los personajes que se nos muestran, es una forma de presentar diversos estilos de animación (Todas arraigadas en el anime) al mismo tiempo que se juegan con los géneros de las historias.

Por supuesto, sería hipócrita tratar de exagerar mi disfrute sobre Visions, no me parece la mejor serie animada del mundo y siento que el formato antológico puede lastrar un poco el disfrute, pero al mismo tiempo respeto muchísimo todas las libertades creativas que se tomaron, es genial ver a tantos artistas tan talentosos exteriorizando sus propias visiones del Universo Star Wars, especialmente si consideramos que dichas visiones vienen desde una perspectiva muy oriental.

No tenemos necesidad de temer, así como han habido series y películas que fallan en llenar nuestras expectativas, existen otros proyectos que no solo cumplen con ellas sino que las superar.
