Wandavision is simultaneously one of the riskiest projects and one of the safest that Marvel has faced in its entire cinematographic universe. En abstracto, Wandavision es una muestra del efecto que puede tener el hype y las expectativas (altas o bajas) en cualquier obra audiovisual, buena o mala. Es natural que muchos no esperáramos mucho de esta serie, los trailers ofrecían un par de conceptos interesantes y muy fuera de la zona de confort del MCU, pero poco valor para aquellos que ya venían agotados con la camada de tres películas al año que es tradición desde hace rato.
La cosa cambia por supuesto cuando disfrutas sus dos primeros episodios, que casi como si Disney todo lo supiera (lo saben) fueron publicados el mismo día. Wandavision es fresca, bella visualmente, y sabe ejecutar sus ideas.

Todo esta construido con un nivel de detalle impresionante.
Lamentablemente, lo que prosigue no es tan prolijo... No porque sea directamente mala, sino porque no puede evitar caer en las costumbres que hacen al MCU el MCU... Si, Wandavision cada semana desataba un debate acalorado en redes sobre quien era quien y en donde terminaría toda la cosa, pero esto nos costó su integridad artística, la capaidad de haber trascendido como un estudio interesante sobre las etapas del luto envuelto en un lenguaje visual que habla de amor a la televisión por todas partes.

El tener que sacrificar para entrar en el resto del universo que han construido las película, el estilo de humor que Jon Favreau habría impuesto con Iron Man en 2008, que fue brillante, pero a estas alturas del cuento empieza a cansar un poco.
Entonces termina siendo una montaña rusa en donde nuestras expectativas chocan con el producto, para bien o para mal... Los que al principio esperabamos poco recibimos mucho, y al final del cuento terminó siendo a la inversa.

Pero al final siento que nos dieron un poco menos de lo que se podía y la estructura que supone ser parte del MCU terminó jugando en contra.
