CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER

Review by @rishagamo 🏆#20 🔥3 🎵1.2k 🎬14 📺1 · 1h · of Captain America: The Winter Soldier · 1 view

There are times when you think you are doing the right thing and in the right place, but unbeknownst to you, everything has been master minded to make you believe that the path you have chosen is the right one. If you don’t see it for what it truly is, you will never believe it if it comes from another mouth that the path you have chosen is wrong.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is a 2014 Marvel Studios action thriller directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Starring Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Redford and other prominent actors.

Chris Evans plays Steve Rogers (Captain America), who still struggles to adapt to modern life after missing out on over 70 years. Rogers was warned by Nick Fury, the S.H.I.E.L.D director played by Samuel L. Jackson, to be careful about who to trust, as Hydra agents have infiltrated the S.H.I.E.L.D. organisation and have been plotting a conspiracy right inside the S.H.I.E.L.D. organisation with the leadership's involvement and other prominent government leaders.

He is forced to face the Winter Soldier, who, for decades, the Hydra organisation has been using to orchestrate their goals and objectives. Captain America becomes a target of shield trying to solve the conspiracy in the organisation.

The black widow teams up with Captain America to get to the bottom of and unfold the mystery Nick Fury left in the hands of Captain America before he was declared dead and buried. They will trace the source to an old abandoned building where they meet the mind of Arnim Zola. A Swiss scientist working for the HYDRA organisation during World War II who was captured.

The scientist, in an attempt to stall them, explains to them what was in the mystery and the whole story of how it was planned, trying to buy some time from the search party to find him and kill him.

Captain America and the black widow finds a way to escape death at the hands of the HYDRA organisation, posing as S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. Since everyone they knew was literally trying to kill them, Steve had no choice but to go to the Falcon’s home to lay low for a while. The Falcon, who is a recent acquaintance of the Captain, will offer his services to the Captain and the black widow to team up with them and help defeat the Winter Soldier and the HYDRA syndicate.

It comes as a surprise to the Captain that the Winter Soldier is someone he knows from the past, and he will make attempts to try to save him and bring him back to his original state of mind.

What fell short for me in the movie was that I expected to see romance between the Captain and the Black Widow. While she was meant to act like she had no sense of emotion, she seemed to be fond of the Captain, and I felt like I saw some chemistry between them; it was just unfortunate that the writer did not satisfy me in that sense.

The movie surpassed all the Marvel movies before it; it had good graphics, very entertaining action scenes, and all the actors giving their best towards the success of the movie.
