After the huge success of Wandavision, Marvel continues to surprise us with its new series: Falcon and the Winter Soldier. My daughter was really excited about it, and even though I am not the biggest fan of superhero franchises, I always enjoy watching these movies and series.

I like that this story focuses on the more mundane aspects of the lives of its two lead characters, Sam has monetary problems and feels insecure with the burden of having Captain America's shield, while on the other hand, Bucky has to deal with PTSD, guilt and has a really hard time connecting with others.

I was surprised by the tone of this series, it felt much more human than most of Marvel works and I've got the feeling it will tackle politics. The colors are also not as bright, and it is interesting that the main characters don't really have any powers, they are just extremely capable military guys that have advanced technology weapons.

I must admit that I am intrigued, I really liked the ending of the first episode, leaving me wanting more and excited for the next one. This is a show about legacy and responsibility, and if it keeps delivering good episodes, I know it has the potential of being great.
