Saludos Hivers, feliz miércoles para todos. Bueno básicamente ya está por acabarse este día, pero como dicen por allí, la noche es joven y por lo mismo es momento de aprovechar para hacer una reseña en mi blog.
Hace un par de días vimos una trama de acción con un toque de comedia. Y pues fue bastante entretenido ver estos dos elementos protagonizarse al lado del grande Jackie Chan quien siempre hace un estupendo y natural trabajo actoral.
La verdad es que me ha dejado bastante impresionado, pues a pesar de que han pasado muchos años, se ha sabido conservar, no tengo idea de cuántos años tenga y tampoco si de casualidad hayan usado algo de retoque visual para su rostro.
Esto último no lo creo, pero se ser así se vio bastante bien y natural a lo que estamos acostumbrado verle. Los movimientos si son menos exagerados que antes y es claro que no se puede exigir mucho.

Greetings Hivers, happy Wednesday to all. Well basically this day is almost over, but as they say over there, the night is young and so it's time to take the opportunity to do a review on my blog.
A couple of days ago we saw an action plot with a touch of comedy. And it was quite entertaining to see these two elements starring alongside the great Jackie Chan who always does a great and natural acting job.
The truth is that I was quite impressed, because despite the fact that many years have passed, he has been able to preserve himself, I have no idea how old he is or if by any chance they have used some visual retouching for his face.
The latter I don't think so, but if so it looked pretty good and natural to what we are used to see him. The movements are less exaggerated than before and it is clear that not much can be demanded.
Toda la película se da en lo que parece un terreno bastante desértico dónde incluso hubo como especial de una guerra, por lo que es una zona algo particular, llena de mucha arena por supuesto pero también de escombros y minas que aún no se han activado.
Pero también hay una amenaza de ciertos rebeldes que buscar hacerse de algo importante que está en una planta de extracción de petróleo, seguramente quieren el oro negro para comercializarlo con otros países y obtener las riquezas.
Es por ello que el rol de Jackie en esta trama es la de servir de protección para alguien importante en esta operación, pero también alguien extra importante tratándose de que su hija está dentro del complejo petrolero.
Parece que muchos han sido los intentos de saboteo por parte de los rebeldes, así que la misión básicamente es llevar a todos los trabajadores dentro de autobuses casi blindados y protegidos por tubos de aceros que permitan hacer a un lado los escombros.

The whole film takes place in what seems to be a fairly desert terrain where there was even a special war, so it is a somewhat particular area, full of sand of course but also of debris and mines that have not yet been activated.
But there is also a threat from certain rebels who seek to get hold of something important that is in an oil extraction plant, surely they want the black gold to market it to other countries and get the riches.
That is why Jackie's role in this plot is to serve as protection for someone important in this operation, but also someone extra important since her daughter is inside the oil complex.
It seems that there have been many attempts of sabotage by the rebels, so the mission is basically to take all the workers inside almost armored buses and protected by steel tubes that allow the debris to be pushed aside.
Sin embargo, una tormenta que no parece natural interfiere no solo el camino de estos 11 autobuses bien identificados y sincronizados, también hace interferencia en las radios y localizadores.
En ello los rebeldes logran secuestrar uno de los autobuses donde está la persona que tiene los códigos necesarios para iniciar el sistema de la planta petrolera.
Dentro de los rebeldes hay alguien que para este protector es conocido, tal vez habían hecho antes alguna misión, no se hace mención de ello pero si se nota que se conocen por la forma en que se hablan ambos.
Cabe destacar que esta persona está interpretada por John Cena, el mismo que solíamos ver en las luchas deportivas.
El protector intenta buscar información sobre el paradero del autobús, pero entre todo el conflicto se suman nuevamente los rebeldes quienes cometen traición y asesinan a quienes trabajaron con ellos en dicha misión de secuestro.

The protector tries to find information about the whereabouts of the bus, but among all the conflict the rebels join again and commit treason and murder those who worked with them in the kidnapping mission.
Hay un punto en la trama que es un poco exagerada, sobre todo con una máquina tipo jet que tiene un propulsor bastante poderoso con el que hicieron la tormenta de arena.
El mismo es usado para perseguir a los enemigos y evitar que escapen con todo el petróleo robado.
Los efectos especiales son bastantes buenos, pero si se siente un poco eso de matrix, aunque es muy común cuando se trata de escenas de acción y caos interpretados por Jackie pues no solo es pelea cuerpo a cuerpo.
Toda la película se da de una forma rápida y al grano, no hay momento alguno de aburrimiento, de inicio a fin se nota la porción de suspenso y más que todo de acción.
Me encantó ver nuevamente a Jackie Chan pelear y hacer sus bromas que la mayoría de las veces es gracioso.
Sin embargo no creo que haya sido una de sus mejores películas, fue más entretenimiento de una vez que otra cosa.

There is a point in the plot that is a bit over the top, especially with a jet-like machine that has a fairly powerful propellant with which they made the sandstorm.
This is used to chase the enemies and prevent them from escaping with all the stolen oil.
The special effects are pretty good, but if you feel a little that matrix, although it is very common when it comes to action scenes and chaos played by Jackie as it is not only melee.
The whole movie is fast paced and to the point, there is no dull moment at all, from start to finish you can feel the suspense and most of all the action.
I loved seeing Jackie Chan fight again and make his jokes, which is funny most of the time.
However I don't think it was one of his best movies, it was more one time entertainment than anything else.
