Saludos chicos, feliz viernes 2 de febrero. Ya falta menos para mi cumpleaños numero 29, ya casi en la recta de los 30, pero lo bueno es que a pesar de que los años pasan mi gusto por ver una película no a cambiado.
Greetings guys, happy Friday, February 2nd. It's almost my 29th birthday, I'm almost 30, but the good thing is that even though the years go by my taste for watching a movie hasn't changed.
Lastimosamente ayer tuve que ver una de las tramas más extrañas y perturbadoras para mi. Pensé todo el tiempo que el terror o el cine gore era lo que más me podía perturbar, pero me equivoque.
Unfortunately yesterday I had to watch one of the strangest and most disturbing plots for me. I thought all the time that horror or gore movies were what could disturb me the most, but I was wrong.
Lo primero que puedo decir de Rebirth es que al inicio no entendí nada y al final tampoco. Pero antes de decirles qué descubrí después analizando e indagando con mi pareja, vamos a lo primero, lo que tal vez se vio pero no se entendió.
The first thing I can say about Rebirth is that I didn't understand anything at the beginning and I didn't understand anything at the end either. But before I tell you what I discovered after analyzing and investigating with my partner, let's go to the first thing, what perhaps was seen but not understood.
Las primeras escenas me hicieron sentir identificado en el sentido de que hay una persona que muestra lo que es su vida cotidiana y rutinaria lo que a veces para el ser humano hay un punto en que dicha monotonía se vuelve bastante aburrido y agotador.
The first scenes made me feel identified in the sense that there is a person who shows what is his daily and routine life which sometimes for the human being there is a point where such monotony becomes quite boring and exhausting.
Entre el trabajo, la familia y los problemas personales y de la empresa a la que trabajamos a veces dejamos que se nos vaya todo el tiempo en ello y olvidamos que también somos personas que necesitan hacer cosas diferentes para recordar que estamos vivos y podemos de esa forma tener otra visión de lo que es nuestro día a día.
Between work, family and personal problems and those of the company we work for, sometimes we let all our time go by and forget that we are also people who need to do different things to remember that we are alive and can thus have another vision of what our day to day life is.
De pronto en esa rutina llega alguien inesperado a quien tenemos mucho tiempo sin ver ni saber sobre su vida y te hace mención sobre un escape a la rutina, algo que llaman "dejar de ser zombie"; supongo que esta frase alega que tener una rutina es como caer en el hecho de que nos hicieron un lavado cerebral y obedecemos siempre a lo mismo, "perder el tiempo trabajando para otros bajo esclavitud".
Suddenly in that routine comes someone unexpectedly who we have a long time without seeing or knowing about his life and makes you mention about an escape to the routine, something they call "stop being a zombie"; I guess this phrase alleges that having a routine is like falling into the fact that we were brainwashed and we always obey the same, "wasting time working for others under slavery".
Cuando digo esclavitud me refiero tal vez a algo que no sea justo, donde no hay muchas oportunidades, o nos dejamos tal vez gritar y amenazar por nuestro jefe por el simple hecho de cubrir una necesidad vital de obtener dinero para poder pagar gastos. Y pues para otros ya obviamente me refiero bajo dependencia.
When I say slavery I mean maybe something that is not fair, where there are not many opportunities, or maybe we let ourselves be yelled at and threatened by our boss for the simple fact of covering a vital need to get money to be able to pay expenses. And then for others I obviously mean under dependency.
Por supuesto que de tanto esta persona insistir y meterle la idea de un cambio de vida, pudiéramos acceder tal y como lo hizo el protagonista. Al menos para indagar y dar fe luego de una prueba.
Of course, if this person insists so much and brings in the idea of a change of life, we could agree as the protagonist did. At least to inquire and to attest after a test.
Sin embargo, aquí lo digo, la curiosidad mato al gato. Y esta expresión va muy bien, porque por un lado siento que no había necesidad de este hombre sobre acudir a un sitio con el cual al inicio no se sentía cómodo, tenia dudas y también muchas otras cosas que pudo haber hecho con su familia.
However, here I say it, curiosity killed the cat. And this expression goes very well, because on the one hand I feel that there was no need for this man to go to a place with which at the beginning he did not feel comfortable, he had doubts and also many other things he could have done with his family.
Lo que se mira después de aceptar ir a Rebirth es realmente confuso, primero por la forma en que reclutan a las personas y el traslado que parece bastante turbio. Usar antifaz, dejar el celular en manos de una persona desconocida y básicamente someterte a la posibilidad de que todo sea una estafa y te maten.
What you see after agreeing to go to Rebirth is really confusing, first of all because of the way people are recruited and the transfer seems pretty shady. Wearing a mask, leaving your cell phone in the hands of an unknown person and basically subjecting yourself to the possibility that it's all a scam and you get killed.
Yo lo primero que pensé es que se trataba de una estafa, más que todo porque había visto el tráiler y vi unas escenas donde se evidencia que estas personas investigan la vida de quienes acuden.
The first thing I thought was that it was a scam, mostly because I had seen the trailer and I saw some scenes where it is evident that these people investigate the lives of those who come.
Sin embargo la realidad al parecer es que las personas mismas entregan toda la información sin ellos darse cuenta, y lo peor de todo es que de una forma indirectamente voluntaria.
However, the reality seems to be that the people themselves give all the information without realizing it, and worst of all, in an indirectly voluntary way.
Se supone que Rebirth es una especie de comunidad que trabaja la mente de las personas que necesitan ayuda en el sentido de hallarse como personas y sus metas, encontrar eso que en el fondo están buscando, pero acá dan un valor agregado bastante interesante al cual llamaré "libertinaje".
Rebirth is supposed to be a kind of community that works the minds of people who need help in the sense of finding themselves as people and their goals, to find what they are looking for, but here they give a very interesting added value which I will call "debauchery".
Nos muestran una series de "pruebas" o cuartos donde siempre hay un grupo de personas que están haciendo cosas diferentes y siempre con un toque extraño. Hay como especie de cuarto de conexión, uno de lujuria, otro de placer y uno en particular sobre la honestidad donde aprovechamos de decir lo malo que va yendo la trama.
They show us a series of "tests" or rooms where there is always a group of people who are doing different things and always with a strange touch. There's sort of a hookup room, a lust room, a pleasure room, and one in particular about honesty where we get to say how bad the plot is going.
El final, era lo que yo presumía, pero bajo un contexto que no entendí en absoluto. Para poder llegar al punto de la película tuve que leer ciertas criticas en tabloides para organizar las ideas y llenar los cabos sueltos.
The ending was what I expected, but in a context that I didn't understand at all. In order to get to the point of the film I had to read certain tabloid reviews to organize the ideas and fill in the loose ends.
Se supone que el contexto va desde las empresas o comercios que usan las debilidades humanas para lucrarse, hasta la misma mentira que se va vociferando en cada una de las victimas para convertirse en el victimario.
The context is supposed to range from the companies or businesses that use human weaknesses to profit, to the very lie that is being told in each of the victims to become the victimizer.
Para que se pueda entender mejor, es el hecho de que ciertas empresas (que por cierto en la película casi que lo dicen; me refiero al nombre) usan la mentira para vender productos de una forma en que la economía se vuelve piramidal. De esto no hay que hablar mucho porque ya ustedes saben de que viene el tema sobre este tipo de economía.
In order to understand it better, it is the fact that certain companies (which by the way in the movie almost say it; I mean the name) use lies to sell products in a way that the economy becomes pyramidal. We don't have to talk much about this because you already know what this type of economy is all about.
Sin embargo, no creo que hayan plasmado de una forma correcta u organizado bien las ideas para que el espectador llegara al punto en si de la trama, a mi me ha costado muchísimo, sin embargo mi pareja dio en el clavo rápido pero son los créditos al finalizar la película.
However, I don't think that the ideas were well organized or well organized for the viewer to get to the point of the plot, it was very difficult for me, however my partner hit the nail on the head quickly, but it was the credits at the end of the movie.
Por supuesto no me ha gustado, no la recomiendo y la considero la peor película antes vista por mi.
Of course I didn't like it, I don't recommend it and I consider it the worst movie I've ever seen.
