¡Hola, queridos Hivers! En este post les traigo la reseña de una de las películas más esperadas del año y, haciéndole justicia, una de las mejores criticadas y con bastante razón. The Suicide Squad de James Gunn (o Escuadrón Suicida 2, como también se le conoce) me pareció una excelente película y ya les comentaré por qué.

Hello dear Hivers! In this post I bring you the review of one of the most anticipated films of the year and, doing it justice, one of the best criticized and with good reason. James Gunn's The Suicide Squad (or The Suicide Squad 2, as it's also known) seemed like an excellent movie to me and I'll tell you why.

El estadounidense James Gunn es el guionista y director de esta película con una trama bastante sencilla pero repleta de todo lo que nos gusta: peleas, armas, sangre, sangre y más sangre. Su estreno fue muy esperado ya que representa el reinicio de la película The Suicide Squad del 2016 con Will Smith, Jared Leto, Viola Davis y Margot Robbie (estas dos últimas repiten papel en esta secuela independiente). Amanda Waller, interpretada por Viola Davies debe formar un nuevo equipo de criminales originalmente llamado "Task Force X" para resolver una amenaza alienígena directa con Estados Unidos y el mundo, reuniendo lo mejor de lo peor de las cárceles de máxima seguridad de USA.

The American James Gunn is the writer and director of this film with a fairly simple plot but full of everything we like: fights, weapons, blood, blood and more blood. Its premiere was highly anticipated as it represents the reboot of the 2016 film The Suicide Squad with Will Smith, Jared Leto, Viola Davis and Margot Robbie (the latter two reprise roles in this independent sequel). Amanda Waller, played by Viola Davies must form a new team of criminals originally called "Task Force X" to solve a direct alien threat to the United States and the world, bringing together the best of the worst from the maximum security prisons of the USA.

En esta película encontramos bastantes actores conocidos en varias películas y algunos nuevos: La hermosa Margot Robbie repite actuación como Harley Quinn, Idris Elba interpreta a Bloodsport (quien es bastante parecido a Deadshot interpretado por Will Smith en la anterior), John Cena interpreta a Peacemaker, Joel Kinnaman repite como el coronel Flag y Daniela Melchior, que interpretó a Ratcatcher 2.

In this film we find quite a few well-known actors in various films: The beautiful Margot Robbie repeats performance as Harley Quinn, Idris Elba plays Bloodsport (who is quite similar to Deadshot played by Will Smith in the previous one), John Cena plays Peacemaker, Joel Kinnaman repeats as Colonel Flag and Daniela Melchior, who played Ratcatcher 2.

🗣 Opiniones/Opinions 🗣

En primer lugar, la trama es súper básica pero excelente para una película de acción: un equipo que debe reclusos eliminar a una amenaza alienígena. De principio a fin veremos peleas muy buenas, tanto cuerpo a cuerpo como con armas blancas y de fuego, dignas de una guerra entre países. Una de las cosas que más me llamó la atención es que a pesar de lo censurado que está el cine y lo sensible que se ha vuelto mucha gente con la sangre, aquí muestran decapitaciones, explosiones, empalamientos, heridas de armas de bajo y alto calibre; no se dejan nada en el tintero y van a mostrarnos con todo un festín sangriento durante toda la película.

First of all, the plot is super basic but excellent for an action movie: a team that must inmates eliminate an alien threat. From start to finish we will see very good fights, both hand-to-hand and with knives and firearms, worthy of a war between countries. One of the things that most caught my attention is that despite how censored the cinema is and how sensitive many people have become with blood, here they show beheadings, explosions, impalements, wounds from low and high caliber weapons ; nothing is left in the pipeline and they are going to show us with a whole bloody feast throughout the film.

¿Es posible enamorarse de más de un personaje a la vez en una película? Sí. Todos somos conscientes de la belleza de Margot Robbie y combinado con la locura que le imprime a Harley Quinn, la hace aún más irresistible. Pero en esta película ella no fue la única que robó mi corazón, ya que Daniela Melchior me pareció una belleza fuera de este mundo. A pesar de que su "poder" no es de mi agrado porque tengo un poco de fobia como Bloodsport, me encantó Ratcatcher 2. Su personaje es tan ingenuo y tranquilo, que no combina con los asesinos consagrados que la acompañan.

Is it possible to fall in love with more than one character at the same time in a movie? Yes. We are all aware of the beauty of Margot Robbie and combined with the madness that Harley Quinn impresses, it makes her even more irresistible. But in this movie she was not the only one who stole my heart, since Daniela Melchior seemed to me a beauty out of this world. Although her "power" is not to my liking because I have a bit of a phobia like Bloodsport, I loved Ratcatcher 2. Her character is so naive and calm, that she does not match the consecrated assassins that accompany her.

The Suicide Squad de Gunn tiene ciertos tintes de Deadpool, ya que a pesar de toda la matanza que hay, siempre hay espacio para bromas o humor oscuro que se aprecia bastante y de verdad es muy gracioso. El componenten de comedia que tiene a veces hace que la película tome otra dimensión y sea aún mejor. En cuanto a la animación, es excelente. Nanaue, el "Rey Tiburón" se ve maravilloso y con la voz ronca de Sylvester Stallone junto a su poca elocuencia y mucha hambre, lo hacen un personaje indispensable del equipo.

Gunn's The Suicide Squad has some Deadpool tinges, because despite all the killing, there is always room for jokes or dark humor that is quite appreciated and is really very funny. The comedy component that it has at times makes the film take on another dimension and be even better. As for the animation, it is excellent. Nanaue, the "King Shark" looks wonderful and with the husky voice of Sylvester Stallone along with his little eloquence and great hunger, they make him an indispensable character of the team.

En cuanto a los villanos, tenemos varios durante la película. Tres terrícolas y un alienígena, quien será el "jefe final", nos muestran varias situaciones donde muestran su crueldad y determinación en hacer el mal. Torturas, asesinatos, exterminios, deformaciones... Esta película tiene de todo.

As for the villains, we have several during the movie. Three earthlings and an alien, who will be the "final boss", show us various situations where they show their cruelty and determination to do evil. Torture, murder, extermination, deformation ... This movie has it all.

🗣 Comentarios finales/Final comments 🗣

Sin duda alguna, esta es una de las mejores películas que he visto este año. Me pareció excelente, brutal, porque tiene todo lo que buscamos en una película de acción y más. Gunn hizo un verdadero escuadrón suicida y le agregó giros a la historia que quizás muchos se esperaban pero yo no, como enemistades en el mismo equipo que luego se sanaron y se cuidaban los unos a los otros. Aquí no existió ningún tipo de limitación en cuanto a la imaginación del guionista, plasmó en pantalla todo lo que escribió y fue una obra maestra.

Without a doubt, this is one of the best movies I have seen this year. I found it excellent, brutal, because it has everything we look for in an action movie and more. Gunn made a real suicide squad and added twists to the story that perhaps many expected but not me, like feuds on the same team that later healed and cared for each other. Here there was no limitation in terms of the scriptwriter's imagination, everything he wrote was captured on screen and it was a masterpiece.

La recomendación de The Suicide Squad está más que clara, entretenimiento y adrenalida asegurada para los espectadores y al final, deja un buen sabor de boca porque de verdad se disfruta mucho. Hacía falta una película de estas, desde Deadpool 2 en 2018 no veía algo tan sangriento y divertido. Por si no quedó claro, hay que ver la película por la trama. La trama: Margot Robbie y Daniela Melchior.

The Suicide Squad's recommendation is more than clear, entertainment and adrenaline guaranteed for viewers and in the end, it leaves a good taste in the mouth because it is really enjoyed a lot. A movie of these was needed, since Deadpool 2 in 2018 I did not see something so bloody and funny. In case it was not clear, you have to see the movie for the plot.
