Esta película, cuyo nombre original es Srpski film, fue dirigida por el serbio Srđjan Spasojević y escrita por Aleksandar Radivojevi en conjunto con el director (a quienes no conocía en lo absoluto), y la descubrí en la plataforma TikTok en un top de películas menos recomendadas para ver, y me pregunté a mí mismo: ¿por qué no? Mi yo curioso no aguantó la tentación y la descargó, sin saber lo que me iba a encontrar.

  This film, whose original name is Srpski film, was directed by Serbian Srđjan Spasojević and written by Aleksandar Radivojevi together with the director (whom I did not know at all), and I discovered it on the TikTok platform in a top movie less recommended to see, and I asked myself: why not? My curious self could not bear the temptation and downloaded it, not knowing what I was going to find.

   Ya que mis expectativas eran cero con esta película, todo empezó normal al conocer la vida del personaje principal, un actor porno muy reconocido en Serbia retirado que vivía de sus ahorros junto a su esposa e hijo. Este recibe una oferta de una excompañera y decide darle una oportunidad a la propuesta que le hace un director para trabajar con él.

  Since my expectations were zero with this film, everything started normal when I learned about the life of the main character, a well-known retired Serbian porn actor who lived on his savings with his wife and son. This receives an offer from an ex-partner and decides to give a chance to the proposal that a director makes to work with him.

   Señores y señoritas, con el desarrollo de la película entendí por qué es de las películas menos recomendadas. Este film presenta escenas de sexo convencional y cuando uno menos se lo espera, toman un giro inesperado hacia lo bizarro y más oscuro del ser humano; podemos ver toda clase de parafilias que son tomadas como "normales" por algunos personajes, aunque para el protagonista le parecen totalmente asquerosas y enfermas (en un principio).

 Ladies and gentlemen, with the development of the film I understood why it is one of the least recommended films. This film presents scenes of conventional sex and when one least expects it, they take an unexpected turn towards the bizarre and darkest of the human being; We can see all kinds of paraphilias that are taken as "normal" by some characters, although for the protagonist they seem totally disgusting and sick (at first).

   Sin embargo, la concepción del bien y el mal del protagonista va transformándose a través del la película al ser drogado en reiteradas ocasiones cayendo en un estado constante de euforia y deseo sexual, que lo lleva a participar en eventos sexuales que al principio hubiese rechazado ferozmente.

  However, the protagonist's conception of good and evil is transforming through the film as he is repeatedly drugged, falling into a constant state of euphoria and sexual desire, which leads him to participate in sexual events that he would have fiercely rejected before.

   Me parece justo e importante resaltar que las actuaciones de todos los involucrados en la película fueron muy buenas; se veían bien metidos en el personaje como si estuvieran viviendo los acontecimientos en piel propia. No debe ser fácil actuar una escena gore o de sexo con infantes y parecer que de verdad lo están disfrutando.

  It seems fair and important to point out that the performances of everyone involved in the film were very good; they looked well into character as if they were living the events in their own skin. It shouldn't be easy to act out a gore or sex scene with infants and look like they are really enjoying it.

   La película, si es por aprendizajes o mensajes, nos deja un montón que estoy seguro que cada persona que la vea podría captar de manera diferente y ajustada a sus pensamientos. Por ejemplo, en mi caso me llamó mucho la atención el uso de temas tan tabúes en películas como lo es la pornografía en general, la pornografía y abuso infantil, el sexo sadomasoquista extremo como, lo que su director y guionista definieron, una crítica a al cine serbio académico.

  The film, if it is for learning or messages, leaves us a lot that I am sure that each person who sees it could capture it in a different way and adjusted to their thoughts. For example, in my case I was struck by the use of such taboo subjects in films as pornography in general, pornography and child abuse, extreme sadomasochistic sex such as, what its director and screenwriter defined, a criticism of to Serbian academic cinema.

   Otro mensaje que pude captar de la película es la disposición a hacer "casi" cualquier cosa a las personas por dinero, por querer satisfacer las necesidades económicas de una familia que si bien no está en la pobreza extrema, podrían estar mejor ubicados económicamente. También nos alerta sobre el abuso de las sustancias estupefacientes, ya que pueden hacernos perder por completo la noción del tiempo y espacio, y nos podría hacer actuar de formas que nuestro consciente no nos dejaría hacerlo.

  Another message that I was able to capture from the film is the willingness to do "almost" anything to people for money, wanting to satisfy the economic needs of a family that, although not in extreme poverty, could be better placed economically. It also alerts us to the abuse of narcotic substances, since they can make us completely lose track of time and space, and it could make us act in ways that our conscience would not let us do.

   ¿Les recomendaría ver la película? Sinceramente, la película no me pareció mala. Fueron casi dos horas en las cuales pude ver una pizca de lo oscuro que pueden llegar a ser las personas y lo capaces que son de hacer por dinero, porque no solo el protagonista, nuestro amigo actor porno, sino el productor que lo contrata para grabar y en especial, las personas que demandan este contenido para consumirlo. Mi capacidad de asombro fue puesta a prueba porque cada vez que pensaba que ya la película había llegado al tope de lo bizarro o grotesca, siempre se superaba y me sorprendía aún más.

  Would I recommend you watching the movie? Honestly, the movie didn't seem bad to me. It was almost two hours in which I could see a pinch of how dark people can be and how capable they are of doing for money, because not only the protagonist, our porn actor friend, but the producer who hires him to record and especially, the people who demand this content to consume it. My wonder capacity was put to the test because every time I thought that the film had already reached the top of the bizarre or grotesque, it always surpassed itself and surprised me even more.

   Está categorizada como de terror/psicológico, pero más que terror como el de El Conjuro o Ruega por nosotros, creo que es un terror más psicológico ya que te sumerge en la perspectiva de una mente abusada de alucinógenos y ve una realidad distorsionada. Si tienes estómago fuerte y soportas escenas (créanme cuando les digo) muy fuertes deberían verla, no es una joya pero tampoco es una pérdida de tiempo.

  It is categorized as horror / psychological, but rather than horror like the one in The Conjuring or The Unholy, I think it's a more psychological horror as it immerses you in the perspective of a mind abused by hallucinogens and sees a distorted reality. If you have a strong stomach and can handle scenes (believe me when I say) very strong you should see it, it is not a gem but it is not a waste of time either.
