Hello dear friends of the beehive, as you know, I dedicate part of my blog to make news, imagine scenarios and analysis of DC Comics movies, and today I bring a brief explanation of what's coming inside the extended universe of DC (DCEU), so welcome to

Flashpoint is an event that breaks the current timeline of all DC Comics characters, that is, it makes a reset of all the characters, changing a little bit their origin and adding small details. I decided to explain a little what this is because it's no secret that Warner Bros (the company in charge of bringing these characters to us in the movies) is having a disastrous management of the whole DC Comics universe after the big failure of presenting such a deep concept in Batman V Superman and then wanting to vindicate itself by changing the director in Justice League.

In the Comics, Flash travels to the past in order to save his dead mother, but when he does, his current line changes so that he can no longer use the Speed Force and therefore no longer be a Speedster. But not only he changes, it turns out that an Aquaman in love with Mera (Atlantean) to seal the peace between the underwater kingdom and the Amazons, marries Diana Prince (Wonder Woman) but Mera attacks WonderWoman and the Amazon kills her, which causes a war between both nations where the surface world is affected and sentenced to its end because Aquaman kidnaps Captain Atom (this is a character that besides having super strength is made of pure atomic energy) so he will use it to destroy Paradise Island, where the Amazons live but their strength is not measured and the world will come to an end if Flash fails to return to the past.

This would be one of the central conflicts, for Flash to get his speed back, a Batman who is not Bruce Wayne but Thomas (his father) since he was the one who died in the alley of the crime helps him but his mother Martha is the one who takes the mantle of the Joker. Superman was never found by the Kents but by the United States government and therefore is very different from the well-known versions. Jason Todd (my favorite character, second Robin and holder of the Red Hood cloak) is a priest, and these are some of the most dramatic changes within this timeline.

With Zack Snyder's tape, the Justice League would lose in their confrontation with Darkside and thus fail in their attempt to save humanity. Batman is expected to die in this installment but before doing so Bruce would instruct Barry (Flash) to return to the past to warn him, so the Batman Nightmare scene (I'll leave the clip for you to watch) and once he manages to return to the past and can fix the timeline, they could give inclusion to new characters in the film universe, such as Robert Pattison's Batman, Joaquin Phoenix's Joker and maybe a new Superman and close the cycle with Gal Gadot and his Wonder Woman. Up to here the summarized explanation of what Flashpoint is, hoping that it has helped you and that it will serve to place you even more in all the things that have us prepared as fans.
