Greetings, friends of The Anime Realm! I’m happy to be with you once again to share another personal review of one of the most popular stories in recent times, Solo Leveling season 2.
Let's remember that this is a story based on a Korean web novel written by Chugong and later adapted into manhwa and anime. As I mentioned in my previous review of season 1, this fantasy, action, and supernatural anime introduces us to the young Sung Jinwoo, a low-ranking hunter with limited physical strength who tries to survive in a world where some humans possess special abilities and whose main mission is to fight monsters that emerge from interdimensional portals known as dungeons.
¡Saludos, amigos de The Anime Realm! Me alegra estar una vez más con ustedes para compartir otra reseña personal sobre una de las historias más populares en los últimos tiempos, se trata de Solo Leveling temporada 2.
Recordemos que esta es una historia basada en una novela web coreana escrita por Chugong y posteriormente adaptada al manhwa y al anime. Como mencioné en la pasada reseña de la temporada 1, este anime de los géneros de fantasía, acción y sobrenatural nos presenta al joven Sung Jinwoo, un cazador de bajo rango y limitada fuerza física que trata de sobrevivir en un mundo en el que algunos humanos poseen habilidades especiales y que tienen como principal misión luchar contra monstruos que surgen en portales inter dimensionales conocidos como mazmorras.
Specifically, the second season takes place chronologically right after the events of the first, where we see how Sung Jin-woo gains new skills and powers, now known as the Shadow Monarch. It should be noted that he keeps these powers a secret.
Among many things, one that caught my attention was the fact that Sung Jinwoo was able to complete the demanding challenge of the Demon Castle and thus finally obtain the potion to restore his mother's health, returning the family to apparent normality. This is also why the protagonist initially refuses to participate in the special operation on Jeju Island to face the army of mutant ants, although, as we know, he finally decides to participate and impressively demonstrate his power, thus managing to turn a difficult situation into a victory.
Another aspect that I still hope to see further developed is everything related to Sung Jin-woo's father and the resolution of many questions that the story still presents us with but which are a fundamental and interesting part of the series' plot.
En específico la segunda temporada transcurre cronológicamente justo después de los acontecimientos de la primera, allí vemos cómo Sung Jin-woo obtiene nuevos destrezas y poderes, siendo ahora conocido como el Monarca de las Sombras. Cabe resaltar que él mantiene en secreto estos poderes.
Entre tantas cosas una de las que más llamó mi atención fue el hecho de que Sung Jinwoo pudo completar el demandante reto del Castillo del Demonio y así obtener finalmente la poción para recuperar la salud de su madre, regresando a la familia a una aparente normalidad, es también por eso que el protagonista se niega en un principio a participar en la operación especial de la isla de Jeju para enfrentar al ejercito de hormigas mutantes, aunque como sabemos él finalmente decide participar y manifestar su poder de forma impresionante y así logró transformar una difícil situación en una victoria.
Otro aspecto que aun espero ver en mayor desarrollo es todo lo relacionado con el padre de Sung Jin-woo y despejar muchas interrogantes que aun nos presenta la historia pero que son parte fundamental e interesante del argumento de la serie.
This season, we see Sung Jinwoo rapidly rising through the ranks, gaining powerful new shadows that he can summon whenever necessary, giving him incredible abilities and leaving us eager to see how his character will develop in future seasons.

En esta temporada podemos ver cómo Sung Jinwoo va ascendiendo cada vez más de nivel de manera vertiginosa, siendo capaz de apoderarse de nuevas y poderosas sombras las cuales puede invocar cuando sea necesario, lo que lo convierte en un ser con increíbles capacidades y a la vez nos deja con la expectativa de cómo continuará el desarrollo de su personaje en las temporadas futuras.
