Hi hive friends, how are you? This is my third participation in this group. Today I want to tell you about a trilogy that marked a before and after in the science fiction genre. That's right, we'll talk about the Matrix.
I apologize in advance for the grammar errors. English is not my first language.
Starting with the post, the first thing to clarify is that this is no longer a trilogy. It is now considered a tetralogy as his most recent film is due out this December. I saw the trailer, I loved it and I have to talk about it. So we will take a tour of this wonderful saga.
How do you know I love science fiction, it is my favorite genre in both books and movies and you can see this saga over and over again without getting tired and I explain why.
Beyond the movies I will talk about the fictional world in which it is based.
The 1990s were marked by the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Many countries were economically devastated. Others went to war, such as Iraq and Kuwait. On the other hand, there were great innovations in the area of technology with regard to mobile telephony and television.
Against all odds, the 90s were a great decade for the world of cinema. Many of the world's highest-grossing films were made in this decade. Icons of pop culture, awards and audiovisual innovation. It was full of excellent works that kept people from all over the world looking for a ticket in theaters. And is not for less.
In the case of the Matrix, it was no exception.
A dystopian future where the human race has been almost extinct and overtaken by machines. Does it sound familiar to you?
Currently there are many films with this type of plot, however at that time it was something that caused a great impact on people at that time. An innovative and interesting plot like no other. It was quite a boom.
This type of plot can be talked about the Terminator (which we will talk about another time) and of course the Matrix. How are they different from each other?
The course that the machines directed the future of humanity.
It all starts with the protagonist (our beloved Keanu Reeves) who is a computer hacker. He has spent his entire life sensing that something strange was happening, after a series of events he was given the option of obtaining the answers he was looking for with one condition, giving up his previous life and everything he had known before. We all know which path he decided to follow.

The Matrix is a virtual world created by machines simulating a past life that no longer exists. Recreating what life was like at the end of the 20th century. Billions of people are connected to this world being cultivated to power machines. In the real world the land is almost uninhabitable as pollution and war ended everything. There is no healthy atmosphere and the free human population is almost extinct.
Throughout the movies we see Neo's path and the decisions he has to make to find out who he wants to be and who everyone thinks he is. In addition to seeing to what degree the simulated world of the matrix reaches. An almost perfect world with its ups and downs that simulates the imperfect nature of the human being. Only those who are aware of this world are capable of performing abilities that contradict the laws of physics.

They show two sides of the same coin. The real world and the virtual world simultaneously. As well as certain mentions of Greek mythology that strangely fit well with the movies. And to end this saga an unprecedented battle where machine and man create an alliance to defeat a common enemy.
Excellent soundtrack, audiovisual effects and cast of actors. In addition to a plot like no other. This is a saga that has met my expectations from start to finish and has its title very well earned.
Now with the new movie, the trailer left me a lot of questions that I hope will be answered when the movie is released.

Until here today's post. What was your opinion of the movie? What other movie would you like me to talk about? Bye
