I found a gem of an anime from the Summer Season. Its still ongoing and to be honest i'm kinda regretting that I started watching it even though it is still ongoing. But, at the same time, I'm happy that I watched it coz seriously, I enjoy every episodes of it from 1 to the current episodes. There's only 5 right now and hah! I wish there's 24! Lol. But anyways, this anime is kind of on a fantasy side because there's a swapping of bodies that happened. Ahhh, the title of that anime is "Though I Am an Inept Villainess."
So, its about Reirin, a beloved consort-in-training in this series, she was loved by everyone including the Prince. Seriously, she's really lovable! Though there is a romance tag on this series, I am happy that the romance part haven't progress yet. YESSSS! I'm really not into romance right so i'm really glad. Now, Keigetsu, who was nicknamed as sewer rat, -I kinda feel bad at her and even wish that she will change and will have a character development later.
But after seeing her act shit in front of Reirin despite her kindness to her, I was like, "she's a hopeless case!" She's full of jealousy to the main character, I can feel the bitterness through my screen, lol. And coz of that, she performed a body swapping ritual or whatever with Reirin. They swap body and she get to experience love and care from everyone which is meant for the real Reirin. But, as Reirin has frail body, she can't really do much on Reirin's body.
What's funny is, despite the swapping, Reirin is actually happy coz she get to experience what's it like to have a strong body, and when she do lots of things, she doesn't faint or pass out anymore. It is an ideal body for her to be honest, even when she's on her real body, that doesn't stop her to do enjoyable things and that's what I like about her. She has so much positivity and when a fictional character is like that, you can't help but admire them. She's lovely!
To be honest, with the urges to want to finish it, I planned to read even the manga. But after seeing the small fonts, I back out immediately, lol. My eyes can't read them and I don't really want to zoom in, zoom out..lol. anyways, I am patiently waiting for the next episodes. I might continue it or not and just wait for it to be completed, but to be honest, watching it right after its released is the best choice. RIGHT? Haha.
Now, for the animation, I really like it. The art style? It is just what I like. I can't help but compare the art style in one of my favorite anime, The Apothecary Diaries. But of course they are still different. But I am really glad that it has nice art style and lovely animation. Even the color is an eye candy. And the whole story? It's a 10/10! Seriously, its easy for me to give a higher rating to an anime that I enjoy so much.
My overall rating for this when it comes to how much I enjoyed it, it's 9.5/10!. I recommend it guys!
