They say that comedy is subjective. In the case of Daddy‘s Home this could not be more true. I tried to watch it but I ended up turning it off. This is not a good movie.

I liked ** The Other Guys** which also starred Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg. I stayed away from this one initially because the trailers look stupid. I guess I should have gone with that initial impression: stay away. I could already see that I would not be watching the sequel because it features Mel Gibson and I cannot and do not want to support him anymore.

For what it’s worth, Daddy‘s Home is a “comedy“ where in will Ferrell is the stepdad two kids and the real dad returns to their lives. The two then compete for the kids affection. Linda Cardellini is the wife, mother of the kids.

I tried, I really tried. I turned it off.

Don’t Bother.
