I want to like this film, I really do. I loved it when it came out in 1987. Adored it. Billy Crystal, as a frustrated writer angry at his wife, and Danny DeVito, as a downtrodden man under his mother's thumb, are great. Anne Ramsey is awesome as Momma. The concept of Devito misunderstanding Crystal's advice about watching Hitchcock for learning plot and believing that he needs to launch a murder plot with Crystal is inspired. The show flows and is funny.

But this time out, I was sort of 'meh' about it and I can't figure out why. I think you should watch it and make up your own mind but I just wasn't into it this time.
