I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really wanted to like UHF. I really did. I loved this one as a child. I loved Weird Al Yankovic. Still do, come to think of it. I love zany, crazy humour and The Simpsons. But this movie does not hold up. I don't know why. It almost annoys me. All the characters cause me to cringe in some way and I kept wanting to fast forward it. This is saddening on so many levels, I've seen Al in concert, it was awesome! This movie, not so much.

Weird Al is a down on his luck type running a UHF television station for his uncle and trying to save it from the corporate other guys. He puts on crazy shows and holds a fundraiser. There are lots of parodies, mostly daydreams by Al or tv commercials.

The soundtrack is great but you can skip the movie.
