Last year, Adam West, Burt Ward and Julie Newmar starred in the animated film, Return of the Caped Crusader, which was a campy adventure in the vein of the original 1960s live-action comedy. The film was charming, fun and quite amusing. West was on point as the Batman and it was hilarious.
Batman vs. Two-Face is the follow-up to that film and comes after the death of Adam West. West, Ward and Newmar voice their original characters and are joined by William Shatner as Harvey “Two-Face” Dent.
There’s no point in espousing the plot, the title says it all. I can point out that it’s funny, charming and you’ll wish a new one was forthcoming.
The Good...
The animation is pretty cool.
The campiness is in full swing here.
The Not So Good...
Not as good as the first film.
A little of this camp goes a long way.
A lot of fun!
