This is a shorter review today (yes, I know they’re all short) because this is not a good film.

How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is about Kate Hudson plotting to pick up, and then get a guy to dump her in ten days, for an article she is writing, by acting crazy. She does this because her friend, Kathryn Hahn, gets dumped because she was “acting crazy.” Meanwhile, Matthew McCounaghy takes a bet to get a woman to fall totally in love with him in 10 days. Naturally they end up together and hijinks allegedly ensue.

This is awful. It hates women. I wouldn’t not want to be the friend because Hudson’s craziness would reflect poorly on her. None of these characters are good people and the fact that they would act injured to each other when the inevitable happens is just wrong. They are not likeable.

Gross.

Had an ex that loved this movie - never understood why. Whole movie is "Blah" - there that's an even shorter review lol. Not trying to be a dick - but I just posted a screenplay - As a person who clearly loves films it would be cool to hear your thoughts on it. It's pretty dark - just a warning.
