This is a real, honestly short review. Based on the Parker Brothers’ board game, Clue is a comedy that came out in 1985, starring a whole bunch of people, Tim Curry, Madalene Kahn, Colleen Camp, Christopher Lloyd, Leslie Ann Warren among others. I won’t try to explain the plot beyond the basic: someone dies, the others all try to figure out who did it.

It’s great!

This is a great, funny, ensemble comedy, along the lines of a great farce like Noises Off. It’s fast-paced, lots of great wordplay and hilarious. It also has three endings that are included. There are a couple of mild jokes that don’t stand the test of time and taste but it’s very mild.

It’s great!
