The Angriest Man in Brooklyn is one of the last films Robin Williams ever made.

I wish it was better.

I mean it’s not bad. I liked it.

The performances were good but the movie doesn’t quite work. The story is of an extremely unhappy, angry man receives notification that he will die in ninety minutes and he decides to try to reconcile with his family and make things right.

Robin Williams is Henry Altmann trying to make things right after learning he has a brain aneurysm. He’s just not doing it well and Williams is great. It is kind of melancholic to watch him though. He is a favourite person and I’ve not been able to watch many of his shows since (The Survivors was a step back in). Mila Kunis is his doctor and she is great too. Peter Dinklage was his brother.

I did not like the constant voiceover narration. It was annoying.

I may have teared up a little though.
