Okay. Okay. Okay. So I went to see Justice League and you know what? I didn’t dislike it. I know, it’s not a masterpiece and has a lot of problems. It’s uneven and far from great but it was much, much better than Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Man of Steel. It wasn’t as good as Wonder Woman but it moved very well and didn’t feel slow at all which was nice.
Batman works to build a team of heroes to help him save the world in the months after the death of Superman and with Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg, he faces Steppenwolf. That’s it in a nutshell.

Superman returns as well.
The Good...
Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman is still good. Jason Mamoa as Aquaman is great. The guy playing The Flash who’s name escapes me at the moment, was funny. Cyborg, played by Ray Fisher, was interesting. Ben Affleck, as Batman, the jury’s still out.
There interactions were neat.
Superman is not the Superman of the last two movies featuring Superman. His return from the dead is also a return to the Superman we used to know.
The soundtrack, by Danny Elfman, is good. He even samples his original theme from Tim Burton’s Batman and John Williams’ theme from ** Superman: The Movie**. They were cool to hear.
Like I said, this one zips along and isn’t as long and draggy as the last couple DCU flicks, pre-Wonder Woman.
The Not So Good...
This movie specialized Wonder Woman and the Amazons with some of their shot choices and costume choices. It is disappointing after Wonder Woman was able to make Wonder Woman a real person in an admittedly sexy outfit without sexualizing her for the male gaze.
The much-talked about digital removal of Henry Cavill’s beard in the reshoots is very noticeable. He looks weird in some scenes. And some of the cgi in some action scenes look strange as well.
Better than I thought it would be. Worth checking out. I’d be interested in seeing if it holds up on a second viewing.
