Pierce Brosnan and Emma Thompson are a divorced couple, Richard and Kate, who, along with his company’s employees, lose their pensions and livelihoods to a hedge fund manager who bought their company to run it into the ground. When they get the runaround by the manager, they decide to get revenge.

Hijinks ensue. Brosnan and Thompson have a natural chemistry together. Their dialogue is hilarious, their interplay feels like a former couple who have known each other for a long time and know each other’s secrets and buttons.

They are a lot of fun to watch together.

Worth the watch. It’s “charming.”
