The idea that the world is made up of several beings blessed around the surface of the earth still remains one of the best wonders the planet Earth has to offer to humanity. We as humans see the presence of various animals, plants, mountains, hills, creatures and the best part we can even read up about it whenever we want, thanks to the power and constant availability of the internet. Yeah, I know I may be sounding all spiritual but I am just a lover of what life has to give. And as a blog writer, there is always an ends to every means, in other words I am driving towards a point. So, in this article which happens to be another movie review from me on another action movie I enjoyed watching. I will talk about the movie Charlie’s Angel by Elizabeth Banks, which explores the power of feminine aesthetics as its main thematic preoccupation.

THE FEMININE GENDER, I can say has suffered the most from the hands of harsh stereotypical beliefs. Beliefs that have grown to shape the way society views this gender. Society has chosen to tag them with the acronym “they are weaker vessels”, which I strongly disagree with. How can you called them the weaker vessel when they also happen to be the gender that’s responsible for productivity and growth. Built with the capability to carry a living offspring for the duration of nine months, and that’s not all, passing through a shit load of pain just to bring the offspring out into the world. So come on, how can you refer to this gender as weak? On what basis are you considering them to be the weaker vessel. Please tell cause I am yet to be enlightened about what makes them weaker. And mind you, if you are judging from the perspective that they are ruled by their emotions, then come on, you should be on the wrong train, cause we all as humans are always ruled by emotions. It just depends on what emotion that’s ruling us at a given moment.

The creation of lead female characters that can kick ass in an action filled way, where there are explosions, speeding cars, guns and other interesting factors that makes up a cool action comedy film is what Elizabeth Banks did in the movie Charlie’s Angels with the acting performance from renowned actresses like Naomi Scott, Kristen Stewart and Ella Balinska. A major feature in the movie that makes it a standout for me is the fact that the director chose to make use of the women as the important characters and giving us a new look at women in movies, where we do not have to stick to the old fashion or tradition that men always have to be the lead characters in action comedy films. And a plus, the action film happens to be directed by a female as well. If this is not the true form of feminine aesthetics, then please once again, tell what is? Also this movie review on Charlie’s Angel by Elizabeth Banks is a 2019 remake of the 1900s Charlie’s Angels.

The Plot of Charlie’s Angel
Charlie’s Angel begins by introducing us to the Townsend Agency, an agency that recruits girls at a young age, teach them how to fight and defend themselves, speak several languages and how to use various kind of tech savvy gadgets for their secret mission. The Townsend Agency is like the Secret Service Agency but this time it’s just for women who have undergone the academy’s training. Although the training is quite tedious from what the movie shows but it is worth it since at the end these ladies gain the chance to go on silent missions that are very important for the well-being of the world and save lives and the universe at the same time. Also the academy is built on secrecy and sisterhood but it is just funny how the Agency also experiences a serious meltdown due to the actions of an insider. The movie also begins with immediate action with the Angel ladies carrying out a mission to bring down a bad guy. More so, the Director makes us the viewer to understand that the Townsend Agency cuts across so many countries filled with female agents. Although Elizabeth Banks makes use of Kristen Stewart and Ella Balinska as the most active Townsend agent, but at the end, she shows unity among the Lady agents from different Townsend Agency units across the world by bringing them all together to defeat the bad guys at the ending part of the movie.
The movie begins to take a twist with the arrival of Naomi Scott who plays a female programmer that works for an arrogant boss in a company that built a gadget known as calisto, which is capable of generating energy that can cause fatal seizures. The evil intent to use this device makes Naomi Scott worried and concerned on how to stop her boss from using the device. This given course unites Naomi Scott with Kristen Stewart and Ella Balinska who happen the be the female agents trying to bring down her boss as well. Together, they embark on the mission to stop the bad guys but unknown to them all, Naomi Scott’s Boss is just a pawn in the hands of the true mastermind. Through Naomi Scott’s stay with the angels, she begins to fall in love with the badass fighting skills, gadgets, outfits and the idea that they are also women like her. But most of all, she is even more in love with the sisterhood bond which happens to be the core value of the agency. With these, Naomi Scott decides to be an angel by going through the academy’s training but first after completing the ongoing mission to bring down her boss.

____ #### In Conclusion, ____ Charlie’s Angels shows a new dynamics to the conventional method of action movies with major characters fully occupied by men. Elizabeth Banks does a good job on this one for showing the action side of women with the fighting scenes, intense shooting, the funny acting from Kristen Stewart while pretending to be Tom Cruise on a mission impossible. So, if you are looking for a movie that shows a new side to women acting, then Charlie’s Angels should be on your list.

EL GÉNERO FEMENINO, puedo decir que es el que más ha sufrido en manos de las duras creencias estereotipadas. Creencias que han ido moldeando la forma en que la sociedad ve a este género. La sociedad ha optado por etiquetarlas con el acrónimo "son los vasos más débiles", algo con lo que estoy en total desacuerdo. ¿Cómo se les puede llamar recipientes más débiles cuando resulta que también son el género responsable de la productividad y el crecimiento? Construidas con la capacidad de llevar una cría viva durante nueve meses, y eso no es todo, pasando por una mierda de dolor sólo para traer a la cría al mundo. La creación de personajes femeninos principales que pueden patear el culo de una manera llena de acción, donde hay explosiones, coches a toda velocidad, armas y otros factores interesantes que conforman una película de comedia de acción fresca es lo que Elizabeth Banks hizo en la película Los Ángeles de Charlie con la actuación de actrices de renombre como Naomi Scott, Kristen Stewart y Ella Balinska.
