[ESP/ENG] Crítica a LAS HIJAS DEL REICH/ SIX MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT Review.

Review by @sangoro97 · 1750d · of Six Minutes to Midnight

. . Six Minutes to Midnight is a 2020 English film directed, co-written and co-produced by Andy Goddard and starring Eddie Izzard, being a spy story set on the eve of World War II, where a British intelligence agent must infiltrate a school for women of Nazi ideology in search of information of interest to the British and, being this the most important, prevent the departure of the country of the students.

Thanks to its hour and a half length, Six Minutes to Midnight feels like a fairly condensed film with a steady pace, with characters that change and we get to know better as the story progresses, being a film where many of its characters are not what they initially appeared to be and that represent the different faces of an approaching war, each with their own interests. Besides being a rounded story, where every image and situation we see from the beginning has a meaning and repercussion later on, the staging feels very rich, with very well composed shots, very exciting camera movements and a very careful setting, with nothing to envy to the best period films.

Six Minutes to Midnight is a constantly moving film, with a story that engages and shows the views and aspirations of those involved in World War II.
