Eugene Simonette se desempeña cómo profesor trabajando en una escuela a cargo de una clase del séptimo grado, excelente profesor, siempre trató de inculcarles valores y retos que los prepararían desde corta edad para cuando llegaran a ser adultos supieran afrontar situaciones difíciles. Él había vivido algo terrible de niño que lo marcó de por vida y quizás por eso decide implantar en la mente de cada niño herramientas que más tarde podrían necesitar.
Eugene Simonette is a teacher working in a school in charge of a seventh grade class. An excellent teacher, he always tried to instill values and challenges that would prepare them from a young age so that when they became adults they would know how to face difficult situations. Soy de las que pienso que un poco de compañía a veces hace la diferencia en la vida de alguien; indistintamente de la persona todos en algún momento necesitamos compañía, tener un buen corazón o un gesto de generosidad para con los demás hará que te sientas bien contigo mismo y a la vez ayudaría a qué la gente vuelva a creer que aún existen buenas personas. A todos nos haría mucho bien conseguir a un ángel dispuesto a ayudarte o escucharte.

Cadena de favores tiene un tremendo mensaje que a pesar de que pasen los años no caducará jamás, Trevor pone en práctica el reto que les encomendó su profesor aunque el piensa que no dará resultados, él quería cambiar al mundo pues venía de un hogar maltrecho, un padre ausente y en la cárcel, una madre alcohólica y desde pequeño presenció peleas y golpes en casa y lo que creo es que al ser tan pequeño nunca pudo hacer nada en aquel momento para defender a su madre y pensó que si echaba a funcionar su idea lograría un cambio en el mundo y sentiría algo de paz a pesar de haber padecido y presenciado tanta crueldad y soledad el quería salvar y mitigar el sufrimiento de las personas y déjenme comentarles que esto tiene un nombre y se le llama ALTRUISMO, una persona que practica esto se le nota, vive más feliz, es positivo, tiene buenas vibras y energías, lo refleja en su carácter, no mira a quien podría ayudar simplemente se encuentra con la oportunidad o necesidad y lo hace, contrario a éste es la egoísmo y de ésto está lleno el mundo, no es otra cosa más que egocentrismo y mala actitud ante la vida. Solo quieren ayuda constante sin embargo son incapaces de reconocer o retribuir algún beneficio, todo lo ven de forma negativa.

Es un error pensar que algunas personas por su edad, condición o discapacidad no son útiles a la sociedad, siempre habrán virtudes que les servirán o serán útiles a otros solo debemos apoyarnos unos a otros y ayudarnos mutuamente y así encontrar el valor o la virtud que todos tenemos dentro y estamos dejando pasar la oportunidad de aportarle algo a alguien.

Trevor entonces toma muy en serio este reto y sale en su bicicleta rumbo al basurero y lleva un indigente a su casa aprovechando que su madre está trabajando, lo alimenta y lo ayuda en lo que puede, el hombre agradecido le pregunta cómo puede pagarle al favor tan grande que acaba de hacerle a lo que Trevor responde, devuelve el favor a tres personas que sepas que lo necesiten y que éstas tres personas hagan lo mismo y así comienza la cadena de favores de esta forma sucesivamente se extendió por todos lados aunque Trevor jamás pensó que esto daría resultado pero se equivocó.
Chris era un reportero quien siempre estaba a la vanguardia detrás de cualquier noticia y esta vez cubría la noticia de un secuestro, el criminal al tratar de escapar de la policía destruye el auto de Chris pero en un momento dado un hombre de nombre Thorsen se acerca a él al ver que ese auto había quedado inservible y le regala su auto (un jaguar), "nadie regala un automóvil de la nada y menos un jaguar" pensó Chris y pensó que podría ser una trampa, Thorsen entonces le dió los papeles del auto y le dijo "devuelve el favor" Chris le pide que le explique porqué lo hace y que quiere decir con sus palabras de "regresar el favor" éste señor entonces le cuenta la historia que vivió una noche con su pequeña hija en un hospital, la chica tenía una crisis de asma y la enfermera se rehusaba a atenderla, el veía como su hija no podía respirar y en la sala de emergencias se encontraba un hombre con una herida leve y este hombre obliga a la enfermera con un arma a atender a la niña y el padre agradecido le pregunta al hombre como podría pagarle y el hombre responde "Devuelve el favor" pero el hombre va preso y Chris va a la cárcel y busca a aquel hombre y le pregunta de dónde surgió aquella idea, buscó en diferentes personas hasta que llegó a Trevor y al descubrir que él es protagonista de esta cadena logra llevarlo hasta la televisión, entrevistarlo y es allí dónde Trevor se da cuenta que su sueño había dado resultados.

Puedo decir que en todos lados hay personas buenas y no tan buenas, Trevor decía "el mundo es un asco" pero yo creo que cualquier situación por difícil que parezca la podemos cambiar, siempre y cuando iniciemos cambiando por nosotros mismos primero y tratar de dar la mano a quien lo necesite en la medida de nuestras posibilidades.
Aprendí bastante de esta historia, esta cadena de favores se esparció por todos lados, les puedo decir que el final es algo verdaderamente inesperado, este chico, su madre y su maestro pasaron por desafios, tristezas, muchas decepciones pero el desenlace hace que un cumulo de emociones te superen, les aseguro que tocará su corazón. Les invito a que la vean, la recomiendo, creo fielmente que está hecha y pensada para tratar de transformar al mundo de tanta maldad, falta de ALTRUISMO. Ojalá tomaramos ejemplo y que bonito sería tratar de imitarlo seguir en algo ese hermoso ejemplo de este niño, sería formidable que esta cadena continuara extendiéndose por todo el mundo, abramos nuestra mirada y el corazón sobretodo; tomemos conciencia de como se puede influir positivamente en el bienestar de otros, ayudando y devolviendo algún favor, salvemos de nosotros mismos, alguien tiene que dar el primer paso.

I can say that everywhere there are good and not so good people, Trevor said "the world sucks" but I believe that we can change any situation no matter how difficult it may seem, as long as we start by changing ourselves first and try to give a hand to those who need it to the extent of our possibilities.
