I usually do not write movie reviews. That's actually something @inuke usually loves to do. I love watching movies and don't mind repeated views whenever I feel like it and when and if I have the time. of course.
Crazy Rich Asians is a movie I came across while searching for new movies and I liked it so much that I downloaded it and have watched it so many times.

What I do wish to share is the beauty of the story and how the actors made it a timeless classic.
The movie opens with a scene where the Young family is shown taking over a hotel enterprise. The scene gives the viewer the notion that he is about to watch the life of the super-rich. Something that you get to read in those romantic billionaire novels.
Well, 'Crazy Rich Asians' is the beginning of such a series and only the first part has been filmed.
The female lead is an Economics professor whose boyfriend invites her for his cousin's wedding in Singapore. She later finds out that he is indeed super-rich and her friend who lives in Singapore makes sure she is presentable before his family and although her boyfriend's mother and grandma do not like her because of her family history and make sure she is insulted many times over, she stands tall and does not lose her wit but withdraws from her boyfriend who in turn invites her mother over and later makes it up after his mother also approves of the relationship. His mother is also impressed by the way the female lead talks about her mother in a passionate manner. Something she has not heard her own children doing so.
The movie ends with the couple enjoying their engagement party.
Feelgood
The movie sets, the storyline which does not have glitches, and the way it is filmed makes you wanting more, especially since you know that it is not the end of the story.
The story is available online and is a popular one. It is all about family, feuds, money, and inheritance. Other characters like Astrid and Peik Lin make the movie even more adorable.
Warning:
This movie is not for the person who loves to watch a thriller or action movie. It is primarily for those who love to read romantic novels.
