Today, I took a break and went to see the movie- The ant man and the wasp.
Frankly speaking I did not quite like the movie.
Why?
The characters are great. The actors have given their best and the picturization is good.
What is lacking?
The scenes are not sort of connected in a smooth manner. I am not giving any hints about the story but feel that the movie is not up to the present standard of the MCU, after having watched Black panther and the Avengers- Infinity war
A scene was not sort of connected to the next. It was as if a lot of scenes were shot and then edited together. It did not have a basic storyline as in the first part. The lack of excitement inside the movie theater was an indication of this.
At the same time, the Avengers movie evoked claps and whistles and all sorts of cheers every time a superstar appeared on screen.
Even the comedy scenes by the actors seemed lame.
