In this spin-off from All American, Simone Hicks leaves behind her boyfriend Jordan in Los Angeles and attends Bringston University, a historically black college in Atlanta, Georgia where she decides to pursue her dreams of being a pro tennis player. Also attending the school is Damon Sims, a fellow freshman who is navigating the college scene to pursue his dream of playing baseball for the university after rejecting an MLB draft to continue to play baseball for Bringston under the guidance of his coach, Marcus Turner. Now normally with my hectic student life schedule, I don't have the time nor energy to actually watch a series, talk less of one with 2 seasons. Then there's the part of it not being around my normal genre, as most of the series I watch are medieval fantasy (The Witcher, GOT, etc.)

Yet, AAH really got me hooked. Downloading episode upon episode and leaving everything till the last minute, just so I could watch some more. Thankfully I'm through with it nowπŸ˜… I guess I was all in for this series because of....

The casting for this film was superb. The characters made in the film were very relatable to the real world and the actors portrayed them seamlessly, which makes it easier as a watcher to follow the story and really feel the emotions. I, for one, think it would be really hard for a person to act below his/her age, yet it was done and it was superb.

For reals, it's just the right amount of drama to keep you glued to your screen without getting you sick.πŸ˜—

You get to see and hear the full drama and series in great picture and even better audio. This was fully appreciated and noticed even during scenes which were clearly shot in dark places or where the character was moving around a lot. ***

*** To be honest... The reasons why I like this film isn't something that can be put into words. Maybe it's because it's talking about something that touches us all... Maybe it's because they featured Nigerian songs and foods into it... Maybe it's because the cultural disposition was just too good to not love... MaybeπŸ˜… But I truly recommend this film to y'all drama movie lovers and regular movie lovers as a whole. Like I said before this film cuts across a lot of themes and ultimately crossed across my ❀️.

    I haven’t seen the homecoming yet, but I sure liked the All American series itself and I’m sure the Home Coming will not be a disappoint. I’m saving it for after I’m done with my current show.
