After I finished watching One Piece, I began tackling other anime's that has been pending happily in my list. One of these anime's is the sequel of Fire Force called Soul Eater.

Now I'll admit, the graphics aren't that good considering the year it came out, anime wasn't really as popular and generally accepted as it is now, hence less money for animation studios to use over the top graphics and designs. Still, studio Bones did quite a nice job animating this show. The fights were splendid and fluid and their use of colors was well done too.

#####- The Fights The fights were unique in this series. Due to it's small episode span, almost every fight was a major fight. Now in these major fights, they managed to simplify it and explain the concept of their moves in a not so boring way so as to keep the viewer informed about what was going on yet still tug on his curiosity as to what will happen next? This was a really big green tick on my book as I for one like to understand what is happening in a fight where non-human powers are in play rather than just watching punches thrown and people fall.

- Character Development

This is the major breakthrough for the anime as the character development was beautifully written. Everyone matured in pace from the war, shockingly as one would be able to show the character development of more than 6 characters and still proceed with fights and the storyline in 51 episodes. I'd have to say that the pacing was marvelous✨
