There are some things that make a movie franchise stand long in this age of entertainment. When you have a good plot, wonderful acting, and a strong main character. Someone who the fans immediately fall for and if it's an action movie, someone that the enemies and antagonists immediately fear. A man of focus, commitment and sheer fucking will.

Then a last ray of hope comes to him from his wife in a kennel, and he finds a way to log through the days. Yet Iosef Tarasov comes in and kills that ray too, unleashing the darkness. And in this darkness, the Boogeyman thrives... *** It might come as a shock but I haven't actually watched the John Wick series. Despite seeing numerous edits, having a lot of friends in the fandom and the movie being a constant repeat in my TV movie channels. I know the man, I know the genre but the movie or the reason, I knew close to nada😂 Then I decided yesterday, that this has to change.  I have to say that the movie is worth its hype, Keanu Reeves deserves his flowers and the director earned every bit of money, fame and accolades this movie got him. It has a simple plot like all classics do, and besides in an action movie, that doesn't matter. What does matter is the adrenaline rush, the fights and the explosions. There's a lot of those in this show, but in place of explosions we have gunshots and the codes.
For me, the codes and the continental really did interest me. It brought a bit more lore into the assassins world.
For what I love, it's clearly the acting, Keanu Reeves and others aced the show. Loved Viggo Tarasov in particular. He is an antagonist I just couldn't hate.
Someone who understood what his son had done, understood what he had to do and yet chose to try and save the son, despite its consequences.
Michael Nyqvist did wonderfully in this role, down to his last moments I loved him.
Another character I loved was Marcus, although with limited screen time, he managed to excel as a wonderful deutrogonist. His death was regretful but well crafted.
Overall, this is a lovely movie that I give a 9 out of 10 rating. Can't wait to watch the rest😍✨.

Hay muchas de esas en esta serie, pero en lugar de explosiones, tenemos disparos y códigos.
A mí, los códigos y el continente me interesaron mucho. Aportaron un poco más de tradición al mundo de los asesinos.
En lo que más me gusta, es sin duda la actuación. Keanu Reeves y otros brillaron en la serie. Me encantó Viggo Tarasov en particular. Es un antagonista al que simplemente no podía odiar.
Alguien que entendió lo que su hijo había hecho, entendió lo que tenía que hacer y, aun así, decidió intentar salvarlo, a pesar de las consecuencias.
Michael Nyqvist estuvo de maravilla en este papel; hasta sus últimos momentos lo amé.
Otro personaje que me encantó fue Marcus; aunque con poco tiempo en pantalla, logró destacar como un maravilloso deutrogonista. Su muerte fue lamentable, pero bien elaborada.
En general, es una película encantadora a la que le doy un 9 sobre 10. ¡Qué ganas de ver el resto! 😍✨
