I remember quite some time ago when I made a review of the animated cartoon The Bad Guys. This TV series is just like the life action remake but with way more violence, touchy language and nudity😂.

The Boys

Plot

When the superheroes are growing out of control, relying on their power and simply terrorizing the powerless. It's up to ex-militia Billy Butcher and noob tech guy Hughie Campbell with other members of their rag-tag team to clip their wings, bring them back to the ground and show the general public just how evil the superheroes and their agency are.

Now I have to admit that this isn't my first time watching this show. I remember watching a bit of the first season back when I was 15. > Now I know... That was way too young to be watching this😂...

At then I had initially mistaken Homelander for a diverse remake of Superman.

Oh how was I wrong😂

Regardless I had quite a colorful view of what a power hungry superhero could do. Right now as I'm way older and more mature, I have come to rewatch this powerful series. Here's what I think...

It's Great 🔥🔥🔥

Now this is just what we need in the superhero industry. Let the heroes fall for once😃🔥 This show goes to show a loads of good things too...

- Values

Yes believe it or not, this dirty, grimy, curse-every-2-minutes, show still taught some values.

Pride and Power twists all.

I think this is even the major point they were trying to put out. As the supes got too powerful and proud, they saw no consequences for their actions and became literal monsters, engaging in different vices. A hero in front of the camera and a monster away from it. Just goes to show what someone can do when he gets too powerful without any sort of guidance. *** #### - The Variety of Characters One thing that this show never got wrong were it's characters. There's the crazy, the sociopath, the normal turn crazy, the crazy turn crazier, one of everything 😃 I feel that keeping a colorful cast helps keep their originality and the show does well in that aspect. *** #### - Gradual yet Steady Thickening of the Plot After The Boys got their first superhero hit, it was clear that things were getting more intense. The plans became more detailed, the mystery became deeper and everything became more tenser. The viewer (me) notices this and could feel his toes curl in anticipation of what would happen next. *** #### - That British Touch I've said it before but I'm a sucker for accent's in an action film. British, Irish, Northern... I'll take it gladly😭 The best I've had of British was Jason Statham... Well that was till I heard Butcher curse😍 Well man t'was effing beautiful 😭❤️ *** ###

Overall Review

*** Well this is one of those shows where you'll see a fan in almost any part of the internet... > And for good reason too...

I feel every action lover should have a go at this TV show. Although I'm just at episode 5 of season 1, I have to say it's one of the best I've watched. Please note... This show is not for kids🚫

Ahora tengo que admitir que esta no es la primera vez que veo este programa. Recuerdo haber visto un poco de la primera temporada cuando tenía 15 años. > Ahora lo sé... Era demasiado joven para estar viendo esto 😂...

En aquel entonces, inicialmente había confundido a Homelander con una nueva versión diversa de Superman.

De todos modos, tenía una visión bastante colorida de lo que podía hacer un superhéroe hambriento de poder. Ahora que soy mucho mayor y más maduro, he venido a volver a ver esta poderosa serie. Esto es lo que pienso...

Sí, lo creas o no, este programa sucio, mugriento y con maldiciones cada 2 minutos todavía enseña algunos valores.

El orgullo y el poder lo retuercen todo.

Creo que este es incluso el punto principal que intentaban resaltar. A medida que los supervivientes se volvieron demasiado poderosos y orgullosos, no vieron las consecuencias de sus acciones y se convirtieron literalmente en monstruos, involucrados en diferentes vicios. Un héroe frente a la cámara y un monstruo lejos de ella. Simplemente demuestra lo que alguien puede hacer cuando se vuelve demasiado poderoso sin ningún tipo de guía. *** #### - La variedad de personajes Una cosa en la que este programa nunca se equivocó fueron sus personajes. Está el loco, el sociópata, el normal que se vuelve loco, el loco que se vuelve más loco, uno de todo 😃 Siento que mantener un elenco colorido ayuda a mantener su originalidad y al programa le va bien en ese aspecto. *** #### - Engrosamiento gradual pero constante de la trama Después de que The Boys consiguieran su primer éxito de superhéroe, quedó claro que las cosas se estaban poniendo más intensas. Los planes se hicieron más detallados, el misterio se hizo más profundo y todo se volvió más tenso. El espectador (yo) se da cuenta de esto y puede sentir que los dedos de sus pies se curvan anticipando lo que sucedería a continuación. *** #### - Ese toque británico Lo he dicho antes, pero soy un fanático del acento en una película de acción. Británicos, irlandeses, norteños... Lo aceptaré encantado😭 Lo mejor que he tenido de británico fue Jason Statham... Bueno, eso fue hasta que escuché a Butcher maldecir. Bueno hombre, fue jodidamente hermoso 😭❤️

Revisión general

Bueno, este es uno de esos programas donde verás a un fan en casi cualquier parte de Internet... > Y por una buena razón también...

Siento que todo amante de la acción debería probar este programa de televisión. Aunque apenas estoy en el episodio 5 de la temporada 1, debo decir que es uno de los mejores que he visto. Tenga en cuenta... Este espectáculo no es para niños🚫 images (2) (6).jpeg
