It is rare that a movie captures the strangeness of modern middle age. Wilson does this. It shows the failings of a generation to mature and become adults, but inevitably find their part in the modern world. Woody Harrelson (the anti-hero) is great as always, and was able to play the role of being stranded in a state of arrested development. Laura Dern did an amazing job at transforming herself into...well...someone completely burnt out.
