It has not been stingy with big surprises this early 2020. From Great Britain, for example, came a miniseries in 4 surprising episodes. Deadwater Fell has been able to shock us by telling us a very tragic story and above all managing to convey a stabbing pain. A mother and her 3 children die in a fire. It's only the father who saves himself. What in the pilot seems to be "just" a tragic and unfortunate story, will soon assume the contours of multiple murder. It will be the father Tom himself who will end up in the eye of the storm and be the main suspect. To play him an always incredible David Tennant, perfect in embodying the duplicity of a man overwhelmed by 4 deaths and at the same time suspect number 1 of the deaths themselves. His wife Kate had been suffering from depression for a long time and the man will immediately try to blame her for that fire. Digging into the lives of the family, you will soon realize that not everything was as it appeared. The investigation will go on, but it will be mainly the pain that will grow, in friends, relatives, in the police force. Deadwater Fell is above all an investigation into pain, a shocking and shocking representation of how an event of this magnitude can destroy the lives of all those involved in the story. There will be surprises and twist plot well built but above all a development of the characters worthy of a great series.
