Also included in the Disney + package, it's gradually emerging with increasing power. After the planetary success with "The Handmaid's Tale" many interesting small series have arrived. However, it's only this spring that the Hulu flower seems to have blossomed definitively. A flower with at the moment 2 very colourful and luxuriant petals:

In the last few days I have been talking to you about the first one, today I want to talk to you about the pilot of the second one. High Fidelity has 4 things that give it great strength and attention:

• Short duration.
• Originality
• Fast rhythm
• Excellent protagonist

Let's start with the last one. Zoe Kravitz, daughter of singer Lenny Kravitz, is now a rising star in seriality. After her success in Big Little Lies, she has literally flown into the popularity ratings of the majors and audiences. Here she is the absolute protagonist and holds the scene with magnetism and skill. Yet her character is not a monster of vigour and magnetism. On the contrary, she is a confused young woman, delicate and quite intimidated by the next step in life. Her verve allows her to constantly oscillate between this confusion and a joy that more than living she is able to convey, giving great verve to the individual episodes. The series lasts about 30 minutes. In an era where the duration of individual episodes often reaches 60/70 minutes, this is a breath of fresh air. So this allows the TV series to be even more enjoyable and to be appreciated for the rhythm. The originality is not to make your head spin but it allows you to follow carefully the trivial and simple events of this girl in search of a disappointing love and for this reason would prefer not to look for more. Tearing down the wall with the viewer is certainly not new in the world of seriality (see Dexter, Frank Underwood, or Elliot in Mr Robot) but it fits perfectly with what High Fidelity wants to tell us.

Presente anche nel pacchetto Disney +, sta via via emergendo con sempre maggiore potenza. Dopo il successo planetario riscontrato con "The Handmaid's Tale" sono arrivate tante piccole serie interessanti. E' però solo in questa primavera che il fiore di Hulu sembra essere sbocciato definitivamente. Un fiore con al momento 2 petali molto colorati e rigogliosi:

Nei giorni scorsi vi ho parlato della prima, oggi voglio parlarvi, accennarvi al pilot della seconda. High Fidelity ha 4 cose che le danno grande forza e attenzione:

• Breve durata
• Originalità
• Ritmo veloce
• Protagonista eccellente

Partiamo dall'ultima. Zoe Kravitz, figlia del cantante Lenny Kravitz, è oramai un astro nascente della serialità. Dopo il successo riscontrato in Big Little Lies è letteralmente volata nell'indice di gradimento di Major e pubblico. Qui è la protagonista assoluta e tiene la scena con magnetismo e maestria. Eppure il suo personaggio non è che sia un mostro di vigore e magnetismo appunto. E' anzi una giovane confusa, delicata e abbastanza intimorita dal prossimo passo da fare nella vita. La sua verve le permette di oscillare costantemente tra questa confusione ed una gioia che più che vivere riesce a trasmettere, conferendo grandissimo brio ai singoli episodi. La serie dura 30 minuti circa. In un'epoca dove la durata dei singoli episodi raggiunge spesso 60/70 minuti, questa è una boccata di ossigeno. Ecco che dunque questo permette alla serie tv di essere anche più godibile e di lasciarsi apprezzare per il ritmo. L'originalità non è da farvi girare la testa ma comunque consente di seguire con attenzione le vicende, banali e semplici, di questa ragazza in cerca di un amore deludente e che per questo preferirebbe non cercare più. Abbattere la parete con lo spettatore non è certo una cosa nuova nel mondo della serialità (vedere Dexter, Frank Underwood, o Elliot in Mr Robot) ma calza a pennello con quello che High Fidelity vuole raccontarci.
