La parte conclusiva di questo "The Series Finale" (ennesimo titolo geniale nella sua semplicità) è quella che strappa il nostro cuore umano e lo stritola tra le sue mani da sintezoide per farne ciò che vuole.
Visione capisce che dietro l'atteggiamento coraggioso e prode di Wanda si nasconde la più terribile e definitiva scelta per lui.
Se Wanda vuole essere l'eroina e non il villain, dovrà lasciare andare per sempre il suo amato.
La sequenza finale, con loro mano nella mano alla finestra in attesa che l'onda li travolga, provoca un dolore lancinante. Ricorda per certi versi il finale di Melancholia di Lars Von Trier.
Visione va incontro all'annichilimento ma prima di congedarsi da questa ennesima versione di sè, chiede a Wanda chi sia davvero lui.
Wanda le risponde che lui è la sua tristezza e la sua speranza, ma soprattutto il suo Amore.
Il sintezoide, seppur senza lacrime ed evidenti tracce di emozione data la sua natura, trema, vibra, è impaurito.
Di lì a poco cesserà di esistere. Cesserà di ricordare. Cesserà di amare.
Cesserà di essere un amato, un amante, un marito, un padre.
E allore per tirarsi su, nella più umana disperazione e nella più umana delle reazioni, cerca di darsi coraggio ricordando a sè stesso e Wanda che questa non sarebbe stata la prima volta in cui i 2 si sono detti addio. E' un modo per dirsi arrivederci e non addio, nella speranza di qualche impossibile incantesimo che lo riporti in vita un giorno, magari sotto nuove forme al momento inimmaginabili ma che lo possano riportare accanto alla sua Wanda.
L'onda arriva.
Visione sparisce.
La casa dei loro sogni evapora.
Wanda è sola.
Cammina tra la gente di Westview troppo arrabbiata per regalarle un sorriso.
Incontra Monica.
Vola via.
La scena post credit ci dirà dove.
Come una novella Dr Manhattan (Watchmen), Wanda si isola dal mondo circostante e si rintana nel suo dolore.
Vediamo una Wanda diversa, più sola, più triste, ma anche più potente e consapevole dei suoi poteri.
Sfoglia il Darkhold, presumibilmente alla ricerca di un modo per riavere indietro i suoi figlio ed il suo amato.
E' una classica scena post credit che decine di volte abbiamo visto nel MCU.
Questa volta è diverso.
Ancor più che nei film questa volta abbiamo imparato a connetterci coi nostri beniamini, abbiamo imparato a conoscerli.
Wanda oggi non è la stessa, nella nostra percezione, della Wanda che conoscevamo fino al gennaio 2021.
Siamo profondamente più legati a lei oggi di quanto non fossimo ieri.
E' una Wanda diversa, non solo nel favoloso costume che celebra finalmente la versione fumettistica di Scarlet Witch (che scena! Che brividi!), ma nell'animo.
Una donna travolta dal dolore ma capace di fermarsi ad un passo dal baratro.
WandaVision è stato tante cose.
Citazionismo spintissimo, generi sovvertiti, emozioni fortissime, commozione, tanta azione, introspezione, riscrittura di taluni importanti momenti legati al MCU, approfondimento.
Alcuni saranno delusi dalla mancata introduzione dei multiversi (per ora) ma, per fare un bilancio conclusivo, di WandaVision non si può parlare che bene.
Per farci odiare WandaVision non basterebbero mille incantesimi.
Avrei dovuto chiudere l'articolo con questa fase ma sarebbe stato ingiusto chiuderla qui senza fare un applauso ad Elizabeth Olsen.
In un mondo dove si grida all'oscar alla prima smorfia e alla prima lacrima sullo schermo, la Olsen ha dimostrato di essere un'attrice con la A maiuscola, sfoderando una gamma di espressioni impressionante ed una facilità di cambiare registro che abbiamo ammirato anche e soprattutto in questo series finale.
Pensare a lei come favorita ai prossimi Emmy non è eresia.

The concluding part of this "The Series Finale" (yet another brilliant title in its simplicity) is the one that rips out our human heart and crushes it in his synthezoid hands to do with as he pleases.
Vision understands that behind Wanda's brave and valiant attitude lies the most terrible and final choice for him.
If Wanda wants to be the heroine and not the villain, she will have to let her beloved go forever.
The final sequence, with them hand in hand at the window waiting for the wave to sweep over them, causes excruciating pain. It recalls in some ways the ending of Lars Von Trier's Melancholia.
Vision goes to meet annihilation but before saying goodbye to this umpteenth version of himself, he asks Wanda who he really is.
Wanda replies that he is her sadness and her hope, but above all her Love.
The synthezoid, though without tears and obvious traces of emotion given his nature, trembles, vibrates, is afraid.
Soon it will cease to exist. It will cease to remember. He will cease to love.
He will cease to be a beloved, a lover, a husband, a father.
And then, in order to pull himself together, in the most human despair and the most human of reactions, he tries to give himself courage by reminding himself and Wanda that this would not be the first time the two of them have said goodbye. It's a way to say goodbye and not farewell, in the hope of some impossible spell that will bring him back to life one day, maybe under new forms unimaginable at the moment but that can bring him back next to his Wanda.

Like a novel Dr Manhattan (Watchmen), Wanda isolates herself from the world around her and holes up in her grief.
We see a different Wanda, lonelier, sadder, but also more powerful and aware of her powers.
She flips through the Darkhold, presumably looking for a way to get her son and her beloved back.
It's a classic post-credits scene we've seen dozens of times in the MCU.
This time is different.
Even more than in the movies this time around we have learned to connect with our favorites, we have learned about them.
Wanda today is not the same, in our perception, as the Wanda we knew until January 2021.
We are deeply more connected to her today than we were yesterday.
She's a different Wanda, not only in the fabulous costume that finally celebrates the comic book version of Scarlet Witch (what a scene! What chills!), but in her soul.
A woman overwhelmed by pain but able to stop just a step away from the abyss.
WandaVision was many things.
Extremely strong citationism, subverted genres, strong emotions, emotion, lots of action, introspection, rewriting of some important moments related to the MCU, deepening.
Some will be disappointed by the lack of introduction of multiverse (for now) but, to make a final balance, WandaVision can not speak only well.
A thousand spells wouldn't be enough to make us hate WandaVision.
I should have closed the article with this phase but it would have been unfair to close it here without applauding Elizabeth Olsen.
In a world where people cry Oscar at the first grimace and the first tear on the screen, Olsen proved to be an actress with a capital A, showing off an impressive range of expressions and an ease in changing register that we have admired even and especially in this series finale.
Think of her as a favorite at the next Emmys is not heresy.

La parte final de esta "The Series Finale" (otro título brillante en su sencillez) es la que nos arranca el corazón humano y lo aplasta en sus manos de sintezoide para hacer lo que quiera.
Visión comprende que detrás de la actitud valiente y arrojada de Wanda se encuentra la opción más terrible y definitiva para él.
Si Wanda quiere ser la heroína y no la villana, tendrá que dejar ir a su amado para siempre.
La secuencia final, con ellos de la mano en la ventana esperando que la ola los arrolle, provoca un dolor insoportable. Recuerda en cierto modo al final de Melancholia de Lars Von Trier.
Visión va al encuentro de Aniquilación, pero antes de despedirse de esta enésima versión de sí mismo, le pregunta a Wanda quién es realmente.
Wanda responde que él es su tristeza y su esperanza, pero sobre todo su Amor.
El sintezoide, aunque sin lágrimas ni rastros evidentes de emoción dada su naturaleza, tiembla, vibra, tiene miedo.
Pronto dejará de existir. Dejará de recordar. Dejará de amar.
Dejará de ser un amado, un amante, un marido, un padre.
Y luego, para animarse, en la más humana desesperación y la más humana de las reacciones, intenta darse valor recordándose a sí mismo y a Wanda que no sería la primera vez que ambos se despiden. Es una Wanda diferente, no sólo en el fabuloso traje que por fin celebra la versión del cómic de Bruja Escarlata (¡qué escena! ¡Qué escalofríos!), sino en su alma.
Una mujer abrumada por el dolor pero capaz de detenerse a un paso del abismo.
WandaVision era muchas cosas.
Citas extremadamente fuertes, géneros subvertidos, emociones fuertes, emoción, mucha acción, introspección, reescritura de algunos momentos importantes relacionados con el MCU, profundización.
Algunos se sentirán decepcionados por la falta de introducción del multiverso (por ahora) pero, para hacer un balance final, WandaVision sólo puede hablar bien.
Mil hechizos no serían suficientes para hacernos odiar a WandaVision.
Debería haber cerrado el artículo con esta fase, pero habría sido injusto cerrarlo aquí sin aplaudir a Elizabeth Olsen.
En un mundo en el que la gente llora por un Oscar a la primera mueca y a la primera lágrima en la pantalla, Olsen demostró ser una actriz con mayúsculas, mostrando una impresionante gama de expresiones y una facilidad para cambiar de registro que hemos admirado incluso y especialmente en este final de serie.

La séquence finale, avec eux, main dans la main, à la fenêtre, attendant que la vague les balaie, provoque une douleur atroce. Elle rappelle en quelque sorte la fin de Melancholia de Lars Von Trier.
Vision part à la rencontre d'Annihilation mais avant de dire au revoir à cette énième version de lui-même, il demande à Wanda qui il est vraiment.
Wanda répond qu'il est sa tristesse et son espoir, mais surtout son amour.
Le synthézoïde, bien que sans larmes et sans traces évidentes d'émotion vu sa nature, tremble, vibre, a peur.
Bientôt, elle cessera d'exister. Il cessera de se souvenir. Il cessera d'aimer.
Il cessera d'être un bien-aimé, un amant, un mari, un père.
Et puis, pour se remonter le moral, dans le désespoir le plus humain et la plus humaine des réactions, il tente de se donner du courage en se rappelant à lui-même et à Wanda que ce ne serait pas la première fois qu'ils se diraient au revoir. C'est une façon de dire au revoir et non adieu, dans l'espoir d'un sort impossible qui le ramènera un jour à la vie, peut-être sous de nouvelles formes inimaginables pour le moment mais qui pourront le ramener auprès de sa Wanda.
La vague arrive.
La vision disparaît.
La maison de leurs rêves s'évapore.
Wanda est seule.
Elle marche parmi les gens de Westview trop en colère pour lui offrir un sourire.
Elle rencontre Monica.
Elle s'envole.
La scène d'après-crédit nous dira où.
Tel un nouveau Dr Manhattan (Watchmen), Wanda s'isole du monde qui l'entoure et se terre dans son chagrin.
Nous voyons une Wanda différente, plus seule, plus triste, mais aussi plus puissante et consciente de ses pouvoirs.
Elle feuillette le Darkhold, cherchant vraisemblablement un moyen de récupérer son enfant et son bien-aimé.
C'est une scène classique de post-crédits que nous avons vue des dizaines de fois dans le MCU.
Cette fois-ci, c'est différent.
Encore plus que dans les films cette fois-ci, nous avons appris à nous connecter avec nos favoris, nous avons appris à les connaître.
Le Wanda d'aujourd'hui n'est pas le même, dans notre perception, que le Wanda que nous avons connu jusqu'en janvier 2021.
Nous sommes profondément plus liés à elle aujourd'hui que nous ne l'étions hier.
C'est une autre Wanda, pas seulement dans le fabuleux costume qui célèbre enfin la version BD de Scarlet Witch (quelle scène ! Quels frissons !), mais dans son âme.
Une femme accablée par la douleur mais capable de s'arrêter à un pas de l'abîme.
WandaVision était beaucoup de choses.
Citationnisme extrêmement fort, genres subvertis, émotions fortes, émotion, beaucoup d'action, introspection, réécriture de certains moments importants liés au MCU, approfondissement.
Certains seront déçus par l'absence d'introduction de multivers (pour l'instant) mais, pour faire un bilan final, WandaVision ne peut que dire du bien.
Un millier de sorts ne suffiraient pas à nous faire détester WandaVision.
J'aurais dû clore l'article par cette phase mais il aurait été injuste de le clore ici sans applaudir Elizabeth Olsen.
Dans un monde où l'on crie à l'Oscar à la première grimace et à la première larme sur l'écran, Olsen a prouvé qu'elle était une actrice avec un grand A, montrant une gamme impressionnante d'expressions et une facilité à changer de registre que nous avons admirée même et surtout dans ce final de série.
La considérer comme une favorite aux prochains Emmys n'est pas une hérésie.
