E' un punto di forza senza dubbio fondamentale ma purtroppo resta l'unico vero grande baluardo della prima parte di stagione. Non è una bocciatura ma è evidente che Lupin sia destinato ad un pubblico che in altri tempi avremmo definito generalista.

Senza volerne sminuire i meriti, Lupin si presenta come un prodotto estremamente facile. E' un prodotto semplice da capire e semplice da realizzare.

Protagonista piacevole e carismatico, azioni sbagliate ma messe in moto da nobili motivi, qualche mistero ben confezionato e cosi via.

Omar Sy è perfetto per questa operazione simpatia. Ha il volto giusto per creare quel legame catodico che non tutti sarebbero riusciti ad instaurare ed una mimica, una gestualità, una fisicità che gli consentono di essere al tempo stesso un ragazzo da temere ed un uomo da volere bene.

In definitiva, Lupin è un prodottino riuscito e che fa il suo senza grosse sbavature. La serie tv francese appare come quel compagno di banco mediamente intelligente, sempre preparato e sempre puntuale ma dal quale non avresti imparato mai nulla di decisivo per la tua vita scolastica e sociale. Lupin è lui, un compagno di banco simpatico e nella norma che avresti dimenticato pochi anni dopo ma a cui, almeno per un pò, avresti voluto bene.

ENG It's an undoubtedly key strength but unfortunately remains the only real major bulwark of the first part of the season. This is not a rejection, but it is evident that Lupin is intended for an audience that in other times we would have defined as generalist.

Without wishing to diminish its merits, Lupin presents itself as an extremely easy product. It's a simple product to understand and simple to make.

Pleasant and charismatic protagonist, wrong actions but set in motion by noble motives, some mystery well packaged and so on.

Omar Sy is perfect for this sympathetic operation. He has the right face to create that cathodic bond that not everyone would be able to establish and a mimicry, a gesture, a physicality that allow him to be both a boy to fear and a man to love.

Ultimately, Lupin is a successful product and that does his without major smudges. The French TV series appears as that average intelligent schoolmate, always prepared and always on time but from whom you would never learn anything decisive for your school and social life. Lupin is him, a nice and normal classmate that you would have forgotten a few years later but who, at least for a while, you would have loved.
