Just... We've lasted 10 years. We've given everything, spent hours and hours of our time, given time, expected improvements. And instead... instead it's getting worse and worse. The Walking Dead is officially a lost cause. It's been at least five years since the series has been able to emerge, to gear up. A resounding hole in the water. A stunned series that can't even live of those jolts that in the first 5 seasons had somehow had the merit to create waiting and pack 2-3 episodes a year of very strong impact. Now The Walking Dead turns out to be empty, dead, stunned like a boxer who was knocked out. More and more flat and one-dimensional characters and recurring situations always equal to themselves. It's not even the case to shout "sin" because now The Walking Dead no longer arouses any emotion. There remains a sincere affection for Negan, a naughty character, sumptuous villain who still exudes a bit of charisma. Michonne is the only one to defend herself from the attacks of time and Daryl and Carlo 2 friends you love after 10 years but who are no longer having fun. The midseason premiere of the tenth season is a horror. Slow, ugly and dull like a cold soup without taste.
Basta... Abbiamo resistito 10 anni. Abbiamo dato tutto, speso ore ed ore del nostro tempo, concesso tempo, atteso miglioramenti. E invece...invece sempre peggio. The Walking Dead è ufficialmente una causa persa. Sono almeno 5 anni che la serie non riesce più ad emergere, ad ingranare. Un buco nell'acqua clamoroso. Una serie stordita che non riesce neppure a vivere di quei sussulti che nelle prime 5 stagioni avevano in qualche modo avuto il merito di creare attesa ed impacchettare 2-3 episodi all'anno di fortissimo impatto. Adesso The Walking Dead risulta essere vuota, morta, stordita come un pugile finito al tappeto. Personaggi sempre più piatti e monodimensionali e situazioni ricorrenti sempre uguali a se stesse. Non è neppure il caso di urlare al "peccato" perchè oramai The Walking dead non suscita più alcuna emozione. Resta un sincero affetto per Negan, personaggio cattivo, villain sontuoso che emana ancora un pò di carisma. Michonne unica a difendersi dagli attacchi del tempo e Daryl e Carlo 2 amici a cui voler bene dopo 10 anni ma che oramai non ti divertono più. La midseason premiere della decima stagione è un orrore. Lenta, brutta e scialba come una zuppa fredda senza sapore.
