As a result I love watching movies and talking about movies. Today I found a wonderful and historical movie while searching, after watching which some new history has been added to the likes and dislikes section. One can get a realistic idea of the ruthless brutality inflicted by the British East India Company and the rich kings and landlords on the common people of the Travancore state of 19th century India.
At the same time, a successful rebellion and victory will be seen in lifting the ban on brutal oppression of the lower castes of the state through the self-sacrifice of a brave hero and a brave woman. Let us give you a little introduction to today's historical and interesting movie.

Although the British characters in the movie are portrayed as the greatest breed of characters, we see their inferiority through their work and torture regime. Anoop Menon and Poonam Bajwa played the role of king and queen in the movie. Along with that, we see hero Siju Wilson (Velayudha) and brave woman Kayadu Lohar (Nengeli) in the two main roles of the movie. Along with that, you can see the amazing villain characters of the state ministers.

First we are seen appeasing the British through Indian kings and landlords. There you can understand how the lower caste women of the state are tortured and abused. At that time a rich businessman of low caste and our main character arrives to talk about business and there he fights with the British and goes back to his village.
After that it is seen that all the precious gold has been stolen by Kachunni after seeing the temple in the state and as all the soldiers of the state could not catch Kachunni, the king feels failed and sends our hero to rescue the thief and gold. But the other ministers of the state do not want to accept the king's proposal, because if someone from a low caste takes the gold, the gold will become impure. Hearing these words our hero goes back from the palace without doing anything.
After that there is money tax on low caste people as well as breast tax and dress tax on women, due to which low caste girls struggle and fight to save their own honor. Nengeli is seen in the leadership of the women and while fighting the state soldiers, our hero also starts helping Nengeli and instructs the women to wear full clothes.
On the other hand, to succeed the king's failure, the queen meets our hero and asks him to save the king's honor by rescuing the thief and the gold. On catching the thief, Velayudha learns that his governor and two other thieves in the state have committed the theft. For which Velayudha recovers the king's gold and tells the king everything.
Because of all this when it seemed that the ministers of the state would be caught, the ministers of the state killed all the soldiers of Velayudha in their sleep in the night and killed the ministers before our hero died in a wonderful fight there. When everyone in the village was devastated by the death of Velayudha, the village god par excellence, some lowly ministers of the kingdom forced Nengeli to pay the breast tax and was brutally killed by the breast tax. Due to this all the villagers erupted in protest and the king was forced to stop all immoral taxes.

In the movie, we get to see the shocking reality of the brutal laws, punishments and atrocities of the British and the kings in the Travancore state of the 19th century. Also, Bacha's wonderful sacrifices and efforts to fight against all kinds of immoral taxes and the extraordinary movement for women to be able to dress freely and against the terrible brutality can be seen.
Also, a brave woman leader and a brave leader are seen sacrificing their lives against brutal oppression. As a result, the lower caste people started violent protests to demand their rights and were forced to declare the tax system imposed on women by the state as forbidden for life.

The history of India that I saw in the movie was very cruel and inhumane. But the struggle and fight that I got to see was very exciting. Those of you who haven't seen this movie yet, definitely take the time to watch it. Then you may also know a cruel history of the 19th century.
