In the beginning of the movie, it is seen that the Indian Army is talking about Project Milan to create a friendly relationship with Pakistan by releasing the common prisoners of Pakistan and repatriating the Indian common prisoners, and there a group of militants attack the army officers in India. Then Major Ram fought the militants very bravely and the militants shot Major Ram's father Brig. Shekhar Prasad Sharma is pierced. Brig. Before dying, Shekhar Prasad Sharma calls his son Major Ram and tells him that he has a stepmother and a younger brother to find them.
At the same time Major Ram with his younger brother and their father Brig. Shekhar Prasad Sharma's remains were disposed of. After that, General Amarjeet Bakshi shows a photo of his daughter to Major Ram and informs that the militant members gave him this photo of his daughter Sanju. As a result, Major orders Ram to disguise himself as a college student to provide Sanju's safety and also tells Major Ram that his mother and younger brother are in Darjeeling. After that, Major Ram is seen going to the college and there it is seen that the college student Lucky is the first to bully Major Ram.
It is also seen that Lucky and Sanju are best friends in college but Sanju loves Lucky a lot. Major Ram bravely saves his younger brother from falling off the roof of the college and becomes good friends with Lucky. After which Lucky asks Major Ram to stay with him at his house and introduces him to the mother. Ram learns that Lucky and his mother could not accept Ram from the beginning so they never tried to approach Ram's father.
On the other hand, Ex-Major Raghavan sends his militants to kill a friend of Sanju's and tries to stop Project Milan by intimidating General Amarjeet Bakshi. But there an important soldier of Ex-Major Raghavan is caught and interrogated by Major Ram. Due to these events, Ex-Major Raghavan can understand that General Amarjeet Bakshi has already entrusted Major Ram for his safety and forced to do so, Ex-Major Raghavan plans to kidnap Sanjuok by posing as a college physics teacher.
Major Ram, being very intelligent, did not think that Ex-Major Raghavan, the head of the militant group, entered the college as a teacher. Although the first plane to kidnap Sanju fails, Ex-Major Raghavan lures Major Ram away from his family to succeed in the next plane. As a result, Ex-Major Raghavan kidnapped all the students and teachers of the college and ordered to stop the project. But Major Ram kills the militant members with great courage to complete the mission and save all the students and teachers of the college. Along with that, the project Milan between India and Pakistan was completed beautifully.

The story of the movie shows great patriotism, supreme sacrifice for the country, amazing friendship building events, great action, great romantic story and wonderful family relationships. Even though the movie is old, it is a great movie for the current generation, through which everyone will get a chance to know about a good movie.
