In the beginning of the movie, a man named Gautham is seen sitting on the street in the rain while being pregnant and is admitted to the hospital by the locals. While admitted to the hospital, we learn about Gautham's past, that Gautham is a tattoo artist and dislikes children. On the other hand it is seen that Mahi loves children a lot and she loves Gautham from her college life and when Mahi tells Gautham about her love, Gautham leaves. But Mahi is always looking for Gautham due to her love.
A few days later, Gautham is seen telling Mahi about his dislike of children and says that if Mahi doesn't have children after marriage, then they can get married and Gautham won't marry. As a result, it is seen that Mahi wants to return her child by destroying her fertility to get Gautham and Gautham does not allow Mahi to destroy her fertility after knowing this. It can be seen that the two of them got married with the decision not to have children and started living happily. A few days later, when Gautham went to help a pregnant woman, the woman also died in Gautham's arms before giving birth, leaving Gautham devastated.
It is then seen that while Gautham is upset, Mahi reveals that she is pregnant and immediately they both have a big fight.
