A 6-year-old Soviet war hero during World War II is shown having an interesting dream in his sleep. After that Sergei learns that his mother and elder brother have been killed by German soldiers and he has to flee now, the German soldiers will brutally kill a child like Sergei if they find him. In his short time, Sergei begins to interestingly help the wounded soldiers through his intelligence, causing all the wounded soldiers to fall in love with Sergei. At the same time, everyone in the camp makes Sergei a little soldier dress like themselves, which makes Sergei very happy and starts presenting himself as a nice soldier.
