In the movie we see the corrupt commercialization of the education system in Siripuram/Sozhavaram in the 1990s very realistically. Where coaching colonizers and private educational institutes have a monstrous influence and destruction of the public education system, we can see and know a wonderful reality of making huge amounts of money from middle class families.
All these are brilliantly portrayed by one of the Tamil superstars Dhanush who is an ordinary teacher to an extraordinary successful teaching career. Instead, he gave his 46 students a successful life by providing excellent education to the coaching empire and private educational institutions who are trading education.

Also a very nice teacher personality is shown. Such teaching personalities are being vilified today as a result of which educational institutions are filled with new teachers rather than good ones and education is beginning to be destroyed.
