Double XL released on November 4th, and I've watched it new and fresh but a little late to share about this. It was a kind of motivational story for girls who suffers from obesity and social abuse for being overweight.
Most of the people laugh at them for having gigantic body shape and underestimate them when they try to do something surprising or try to achieve their goals. Family become over concerned for them as society make fun of them.
Opinion About The Movie:
The movie was good though there was nothing unique. Its a full of drama and story of two girls, they were suffering from obesity and get rejection from the opportunity they wanted to grab. One of them wanted to be sports representer who belongs to a village where there was none to appreciate her aim even her own mother never encourage her for her aim. Her mother was concerned about her marriage not career.
One day she got a chance and convicted her mother for it with the condition, if she successfully get the job her mother will let her doing that and will think about her marriage later and she goes to city to grab the chance and attend interview but she was rejected for her obesity and didn’t get the chance for audition. There the story begin.
On the other hand the another girl with obesity name Saira kanna who is a fashion designer was cheated by her boyfriend and she focused on her career and become confident to show the world that she can do everything else other girls do. Obesity is not a handicap if they believe on their guts. Saira and Rajshri meet to each other and helped each other to reach their goals. That's the actual story and at the end they successfully reached their goals as mostly happen in movies, a happy ending.
It was good drama and entertaining but there was no specific scene or point that can blow my mind and I can say "Wow" it was a good drama but story was not so strong that can insist audience to watch the movie twice. That's my honest review about the movie.
Cast And Crew:
Leading roles of this movie are, Sonakshi Sinha as Saira Khanna who is a fashion designer and she has lots of dream to be a great fashion designer, as Huma Qureshi as Rajshri Trivedi who has dream to be sports presenter and she prepare herself for it since her school days. Zaheer Iqbal as supporting character or travel guide in the London. Mahat Raghavendra as cameraman or supporting character name Sri. So these four characters made the movie complete.
Review And Ratings:
According to internet I've found the movie get 6.5 star rating out of 10. Personally I'll rate this a 5 Star out of 10. Acting was good but the story was very usual and common. Actors tried their best to represent the story well and tried to entertain audience but we audience always expect more.
